Surely, Zero had been through a lot in his own life. It must've been depressing to know how long the people around him lived and watching them die. She knew the pain of watching someone you care about die. Without fail, Shikku always watched their deaths twice. She couldn't even do anything to stop it, when she knew exactly how they would die. Completely feeling the serious mood and the intensity that went into it, Shikku smiled. "You can look if you want. I already know how much longer I have to live and you'll know it sooner or later, too. I don't mean to sound like I know exactly how or exactly the time, but I have a hunch on what's going to happen and how long away I've got. Watching others face misfortune is like a hobby of mine. Well, I don't know how to explain that well enough but... That's why I came up here to get you. Life is precious, even in the most terrible of states...." She glanced downwards as much as possible and headed for the door. Previously, she swung the door open as hard as possible and it was still open wide. "Anyways... Why were you going to jump, Zero? I mean I don't really know much about you yet, but maybe talking about it would make you feel better? Or you don't have to talk." She was nervous and stuttering slightly due to her own embarrassment. She didn't want to seem pushy or demanding although she was totally curious about it. Still not knowing it was a misunderstanding she continued. "I mean, you don't have to share anything you don't want too. I don't want to overstep my boundary..." A nervous wreck would describe Shikku well. She usually said many thoughts as soon as they came to mind and didn't hesitate. It was quite reckless of her and usually she said something insulting. She always retracted or added on to any statements that she felt came out wrong and regretted them afterwards.

Möhnä was ready to just withdraw his hand back awkwardly when the female mutant finally shook it and introduced herself as Kana. She didn't seem too bad even though she obviously wasn't too fond of introducions. It was quite sweet of her to do it anyway just to please him. Or that's what Möhnä thought at least. There was no telling exactly what was going through the other mutant's head. The male mutant would've grinned if he could, instead he cocked his head to the side slightly, "Kana, eh? I like that, such a cool name."
Not paying any mind to what he was doing, Möhnä took a few steps towards the window he had been looking outside from just a moment ago and took quick look outside. He had long since stopped consciously doing it but he still unconsciously had to check there was no suspicious looking persons loitering around his little hide-out. After his quick glance outside, Möhnä turned back to Kana, not sure what to say, "So... Why're you here?"
He wasn't quite sure whether he meant why she was in 'his' house or why she was around this part of the city. Maybe he meant both or maybe he just needed to fill the silence with something. Who knows.
Kana was a little surprised to hear that Möhnä actually liked her name. Considering her own distaste for it, she stepped back with astonishment. It kind of left her at a loss for words. She couldn't even mangle up a quick 'thank you.'
While her head was spinning, she noticed Möhnä moving towards the windows. She took a guess that he was quite afraid of intruders. Considering he also spotted her from the same window, she knew that it was probably a security habit. Checking for anybody suspicious would be a constant for her if she had the same mutations that made up Möhnä. Kana glanced out the window, too, taking the same precaution.
"Here? Like this city?" Kana asked, not knowing whether it meant the house or the city itself. "I'm here for personal reasons. I've lived in many places before and have seen the falls of mutants because of the supremacy normal people feel towards creatures like us. Although I know how we may appear to be different, we do not deserve to be treated differently. I won't just sit down and take their bull." She scuttled closer to the window, her face contorted with streaks of anger. "I'll show these people who the real monsters are." Kana faced Möhnä again, a smirk of triumph on her face "Not us, but them...."

Name: Hayden
Gender: Male
Age: 19, almost 20.
Human? or … : Human-ish.
Appearance: Hayden is tall for his age, with a bit of a lanky build. He’s moderately strong yet not a lot of muscle shows. His skin is pale and doesn’t tan at all. It’ll just go straight to a sunburn, peel and then return to being pale. White hair, with bangs which are usually gelled to the left side and it’s long enough to reach the back of his ears. His right ear lobe is pierced and Hayden keeps a small silver hoop in it. His eyes are inverted; no irises, white pupils, and black scleras. He wears sunglasses to hide his eyes, indoors and out. Hayden favors dark washed jeans which are ripped at the knees and a white button down shirt where the first three buttons remain undone. Wears dark converses, slightly covered in mud and the shoelaces are frayed. Recently, however, his finger nails have been unusually long and slightly sharp, no matter what he tries to do. Trims them one night, and the next day, they’ll return. Due to this, he has come up with a schedule where he trims them every morning before he leaves the house.
Personality: Hayden is often bumping into doors, tables, people, etc. He’s awkward around new people since he believes they may not like him, or call him out on being different. But he gives them a chance. Yet, once he trusts a person, he will have their back every second. Kind and understanding and tries to help people anyway he can. He doesn’t anger easily, but if he is, he will yell and shout and scream, trying to pinpoint the person’s weaknesses and bring them down. He likes drawing and sculpting which he does in his spare time. Due to his past, he despises drugs and alcohol and the people that use them. Very possessive of his sunglasses.
History: He was born to a teen parent who gave him up for adoption. His eyes, at this time, were normal. Hayden was adopted at the age of 3 to a man looking to start a family, but had never had a lover and had no interest in one. His adoptive father was kind to him, supporting him in his school activities as a child. He often let him advice on how to be kind to his friends, and how to help them when they were in need. He was a very wise man. Yet, at the age of 10, his eyes began to change. Hayden hadn’t noticed despite things getting blurrier and colors began to melt away. It was his father who remained calm, offered the idea of hiding his eyes and told Hayden that he should stay strong. They agreed to not mention it to anyone, to avoid judgement. At the age of 17, his father had be killed in a head-on collusion by a drunk driver. Hayden dropped out of school and moved away. He bought an apartment where he currently lives. Now, a new mutation seem to be revealing itself.
Other: Hayden’s eyes actually weaken his eyesight. He’s colorblind and far-sighted. His sunglasses don’t help.

Möhnä felt slightly ashamed due to Kana's words and after she turned to face him again, he bowed his head in shame. She was bravely opposing the ones mistreating them and standing her ground while he was busy hiding in his stupid house and feeling sorry for himself. He was pathetic.
Her words also brought another thought into Möhnä's head. He kind of saw why she said the humans were the real monsters but weren't mutants just the same? Everyone was pretty much a monster in today's world. The only difference was, the mutants' outside reflected their insides. It was kind of a depressing way to see the world, he had to admit, but it was still better than going around singing about rainbows and sunshine while believing everyone was a good person deep down. Not that Möhnä knew anyone who was like that and it wasn't surprising either, people like that die before anyone knows them.
"I'm sorry." To tell the truth, he wasn't exactly sure what he was sorry for. For not being brave like her and being a wuss? For ending up like this? For being born in the first place for crying out loud? In the end, did he really need an exact reason to be sorry anyway? Maybe he was just sorry for everything.
She had no idea what Möhnä could possibly be sorry about. He hadn't done a single thing wrong to her from the second she invaded his fortress. If anyone should be apologizing, she subtly felt it would be herself. Kana caused him to fall through the floor boards after scaring half to death and he was apologizing? With confusion, she moved closer to the window.
Thinking she most likely said something to make him feel lesser, her head started spinning. She was born an aggressive girl and didn't know exactly how to hold hereof back and be passive. Always doing what came to mind, she started to be ignored by others who couldn't follow her flow. It was unfortunate, but Kana smoothly dealt with situations like that...
Why do I tire of counting sheep?
He glanced briefly at the female mutant, with fear of getting rejected, "You must hate me." He hadn't really been in a presence of someone else this long for a long time and he really hoped he would be able to call Kana 'friend' someday. He had been human once and monster or not, he still needed human interaction. He was slowly losing his mind being cramped up in that house all by himself day after day. However, he was quite sure the other mutant couldn't wait to get away from him.

Name: Connor Matheson
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Human? or...: Human
Appearance: Something like this.
He usually wears a dark green T-shirt with a black jacket on top of it. Due to unknown reasons, he tends to roll up the jacket sleeves just below his elbows. He also wears simple black jeans with black combat boots or dark blue trainers.
Personality: Connor has a strong sense of justice and he stands by his beliefs and words to the bitter end. He tends to be stubborn at times and it's almost impossible to make compromises with him. However, he's also very protective of those he cares about to the point it becomes annoying.
History: He pretty much lived an average childhood with his parents. He was the only child so he had the privileges of one. However, he always had the urge to take care of people around him, especially those that were younger than him and since he had no siblings, he directed that towards his friends. Even though he was being quite annoying at times and his friends constantly told him they could handle themselves, Connor just couldn't help himself.
When he was 17, Connor's parents were killed during a robbery. The teen happened to arrive home when the robbers were already gone and the only one who was at the scene was an unlucky mutant who was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Connor of course didn't buy that and the two ended up exchanging blows. Connor got some nasty scars on his face and lost an eye while the mutant hit his head on a pretty sharp rock and died.
It was only six months later that Connor learned it wasn't the mutant who killed his parents but a few humans. Ever since then, he's been kind of soft on mutants. If Connor saw a human stealing a candy bar at a shop, he'd punch them a black eye an drag them over to the owner to apologize. If the one stealing the candy bar was a mutant, he'd probably just turn a blind eye. Though, he'll never admit such a thing.
Other: Connor has a major sweet tooth and he's especially fond of lollipops.

"I don't blame you so I do not hate you. There is no reason for me to hate you. You saw how I pushed the man in the crowd, right? Well, he was a mutant and was hiding among them. I wanted him to feel their sympathy. Maybe he could find a human lover from being pushed by a mutant. I... have only ever wanted to help my kind." She admitted very nervously, still staring out the window. Usually holding her strong facade against others, she let down her final guard. "You are also included in that." Kana turned to face Möhnä.
For the first time in a long span of time, she smiled. It wasn't an overbearing grin, but a sincere smile to the mutant in front of her. Her own fears proved to be true and she regretted her abrasive personality. She wanted to say she understood what it was like to be a little passive, but she couldn't. If she said she was passive in any sense of the word, it would be a lie. "If you would like, I can help you stand up. You can become stronger. Trust me." It was hard for her to say those words. Her confidence faltered slightly with her smiling turning back to an emotionless glance.
Why do I tire of counting sheep?
Möhnä just stared at Kana, dumbstruck. That certainly wasn't the reaction he had been expecting, at all. He had clearly misjudged the female mutant and he felt the need to apologise again for his stupidness. He wasn't too sure she would like that so he just kept his mouth shut this time. Trying to progress the information he had just been given, Möhnä glanced at the ground and then looked back at Kana, still at a loss of words. It had been a while since he had heard such words from anyone and he didn't know how to respond.
Could he really be strong like her? No, probably not but maybe he could become stronger than he was now. There was no point in trying to become like Kana but instead he would beat himself. At least he could try, it wasn't like he had anything to lose really. "Are you sure? ...I don't know whether I can be strong or not." Möhnä hesitated for a while before he could get the next words out. "But I think... That with the help of someone like you, I'd have to at least try." He sure as heck didn't know what would happen because of what he had just decided and whether he would like it or not but he wouldn't regret any of this. He was quite sure of that.
Sitting near a window at a table with a coffee stain on it -the work of the last customer perhaps?-, Connor sipped on his hot chocolate that was still slightly too hot for his taste. Ordering hot chocolate at a coffee shop was quite unusual but he had never really liked coffee. It was too bitter for him, even with sugar. He didn't really like tea either.
A small girl, probably 8 or 9 years old if he had to guess, who was sitting a few tables down with her parents had been staring at him most of the time ever since he had walked in. Occasionally, she would point at him and say something to her parents after which they would push her hand down tell her to stop staring. Of course she couldn't, she was just a kid after all and to tell the truth, Connor didn't really mind either. It was actually quite cute.
However, after a while the girl directed her attention to the new arrival instead. A tall man with white skin and even whiter hair. After a while, it became clear he wasn't going to take those sunglasses off even though he was indoors. What a douchebag. Not really interested what the man was up to, Connor directed his attention back to his sweet drink that had now cooled down slightly. It was just the perfect temperature.
Zero shook his head, "Whether you know already or not, I don't really want to know. Maybe if I met you randomly on the street somewhere I would, but... no. I'm gonna go ahead and consider you at least an acquaintance now, since this is about the most positive social interaction I've had with anyone since my eyes turned black, and that means no knowing anything about your life other than what you tell me." He followed when Shikku began walking for the door, glad that they'd seemingly be getting off the roof before someone else noticed them and could come bother them about being up there. He hung out on rooftops enough to know how damn annoying people could get if they noticed you hanging out on top of a building - especially a building he wasn't supposed to be able to get onto in the first place. (Long story short: he decided it'd be a good idea to relax on top of some federal building once. It ended badly.) When Shikku brought up the whole jumping thing again, Zero couldn't help but smile slightly. The whole idea of it was amusing to him, though he figured it might be embarrassing for Shikku. "There isn't much for me to tell you, considering I'm not actually suicidal. Weird and a bit stupid, yeah. Lonely, maybe... but no, not suicidal. Gave up on that idea a while ago, when I realized it'd never work. I already died once, didn't agree with me."
((Blueyyyy! Come back online and talk to me!))
As time passed and the day went on, Tanja had been slowly starting to fall asleep. Ironic really, considering she was still in the place people generally went when the needed to wake up - a coffee shop. When a new person walked into the shop though, someone she had never seen before, she sat up, watching the stranger with interest. She had a photographic memory and trained herself to remember appearances of the people she met, so she recognized an absurd amount of the people living in this city despite having never spoken with the majority. This was her second week hanging out in this particular coffee shop, so she already committed everyone that walked by and entered it to memory... this man, however, was someone she didn't recognize. Tanja had never seen him anywhere in the city, let alone the coffee shop... while it was fully possible he was new to the city or stayed in the various places she never bothered to visit, she couldn't help but be interested in him. It wasn't her fault; new things = interesting things. It didn't really help that this weirdo sat at the table next to the counter she was at, and that he oddly refused to take off his sunglasses... After a few minutes of glancing at him repeatedly and trying not to stare, she gave up. Standing and walking over to his table, she slammed her hands down on the table, accidentally drawing a lot more attention to herself then she originally planned to. "You do realize you're inside, right?" she asked curiously. It was probably rude of her, but... manors were never her strongest point.
EDIT:: ((Yooo I just realized there are now 3 charas in a coffee shop which I just accidentally made the same coffee shop and that is awesome.

With an uncharacteristic smile, Kana nodded her head. "The first step to finding strength is having the willpower to pursue it. The heart will nourish the strength of your willpower." She was proud of him in all honesty. She didn't usually use the feeling towards others except a young mutant she treated as her child, but that was long ago. She was pleased that he was accepting the offer.
Feeling like Möhnä never left this destroyed building for a couple years, she knew what to do next. "Alright, it's time to take the second step. Let's go outside." Kana knew she was probably going to be faced with skepticism. It happened to her often. Many didn't see eye to eye with her and she found herself at ends with some. She hoped that the idea of leaving wouldn't scare Möhnä too much, but knew it probably would.
Shikku looked back at Zero, the blood flowing out of her face. "Wh-what? You weren't going to jump...?" She didn't bother watching the rest of her vision before running up so many flights of stairs. Only now did she know how much energy and time she had wasted running up here. Just knowing that she ran up here expecting to save someone only to make a mistake brought the color back to her face, a flush of embarrassment coming with. She hid her face, turning back to the stair case and running down it recklessly. Her shoes didn't allow much help with her running, making her falter every other step. Shikku kept a heavy hand on the railing not allowing herself to fall. At some point, she kicked off her shoes, leaving them lying discordantly on the prior stairs. Getting farther down to the bottom, she glanced back and screamed "Sorry, Zero..." before trailing down the rest of the stairs and getting outside the building. She was truly embarrassed with herself for making such a grave mistake. It really made her want to just go and hide under a rock somewhere. Her fleeing skills had improved since the last time she had to escape from a situation, although this time it wasn't such a huge problem. Last time, she was getting away from the life she lived, going forward and making her way to something new. It had almost been half a year since that time and she was a little more confident with herself since then. Leaving the clutches of Del Figlia was probably the best decision of Shikku's life, although it left her alone.

However, he must've known he would have to step outside sooner or later when he decided he wanted to be stronger. He had just hoped it would've been later. Though he didn't want to go back in his word before he even really tried so there really wasn't much options for him. Besides, Möhnä didn't want to disappoint Kana right away. "Okay... Fine, I'm coming.... Just give me a sec."
Making his way over to a cardboard box in one of the corners of the room, Möhnä pulled out a slightly worn out dark green hoodie. He set it aside on the floor while he took off the arm-spike-thingies he kept on. He wasn't too sure what they were supposed to be but he had gotten them from another mutant in exchange for some food a while back and he thought they kinda looked cool. After setting them into the box instead, Möhnä pulled the hoodie on over his head, careful not to rip it with his horns. He didn't really think he'd need it to stay warm but maybe it would make him look at least slightly less weird. Or perhaps it just made him feel more safe when there was a cloth between him an everyone else. Besides, it was comfortable even though it was a size too big for him.
Not one bit ready to go outside, Möhnä made his way hesitantly over to Kana and the window said mutant had used to come in. "Let's get this over with before I start having second thoughts..." Walking past Kana, he started climbing out of the window. It wasn't probably the most convenient exit but the stairs to the first floor were a death trap and no sane person would use them unless they had a death wish. Möhnä had learned that when he had fallen through one of the steps and broken his arm. Since he felt safer when he was higher up, he had started using the window as the 'door' whenever he had to go get some food after that. Though he had done that always at night so climbing out when the sun was up felt alien to him.
Dismissing the unnecessary thoughts, the mutant carefully leaped out, landing on the sidewalk below on all fours. Kind of like a frog actually. Still in his crouched position, Möhnä eyed the few passers-by that were staring at him warily. This was a bad idea.
Almost choking on his hot chocolate, Connor looked up and soon spotted the culprit behind the loud slamming noise that had startled him. Apparently the dark haired girl wasn't too fond of the sungasses jerk either. Though maybe she could've made that known without trying to wake the dead, in which Connor bet she succeeded in. Huffing, the male tried to mind his own business but he would have been lying if he said he wasn't at least little bit interested in what 'Sunglasses' was going to do about the female next to his table.

Without another thought, she dove through the window. Her wings were practically an after thought for landing softer. She liked to free fall and felt even freed by it. There was something about falling out of the sky that released her troubles and her worries flew away on the winds around her. Her wings sprung out cushioning her landing on the side walk. Several humans scurried away before she trambled them with her massive black boots. She had no cares about them any way and didn't care whether or not they moved.
Like a shield in enemy territory, her guard flew up towards the humans. She saw their glares, some of anger, some of ignorance, and glared back. She herself, was perfectly fine with being starred at, it was the glares given to Möhnä that disturbed her. She didn't want him to whole up in that abandoned building until the end of time because of ignorant humans. Kana vowed to herself that she would at least protect him if things got rough. She would fight and use her own strength, or if needed, carry him to safety.
Shikku was in such a rush that she ignored the question. She needed to focus as long as humanly possible on the vision she was reading. Half the routes she saw were closing and the others were just starting to open. This was why she hated interfering with the future so much. She hated when things changed from what was previously true. It was like having been told a lie only to have it later become real. Her thoughts began to jumble and she had a lot of trouble seeing the real from the fake. Taking a deep breath, she stopped and focused. Shikku wasn't in the mood to be pursued today. Knowing she was under eighteen only made her fears worse. I can't go back played around and around in her head until finally she moved, running and ignoring her foresight. She followed the back alley that would lead to the back door of her apartment building. She slammed the door open much like the roof top door, and proceeded through. "My apratments on the fourth floor..." She stammered, slightly and breathed heavily. Her fears were released with a sigh.
(Just kill her and get it over with...XD)
