ok so i've started doing the raylong
quest, and im completely stuck on the second bit. the win higher or
lower for 15 rounds in a row. obviously some people have done it,
but holy crap this is impossible. its 100% up to chance, theres
literally no skill to it, just hoping you picked the right one? its
so frustrating?? has anyone else had this problem too because i've
wasted a good 3000gc on this so far

For Raylong quest #2, you kinda just need patience. The best thing that you can use to increase your chances besides luck is using basic rules of rounding. For example, if they say the number is 3, then you guess higher since there are more numbers higher up. Basically, if the number would be rounded down, then choose higher, and if it is rounded lower, choose higher. Five is usually rounded up, but in the end either way it's a 50% chance. Hope this helps somehow, but just remember, more frustrating things are ahead.

My advice:
1: Bet 100 coins. It’s the lowest you can go and helps conserve as much coins as possible.
2: As the guy above me said, basically just use math to go for the most probable answer. If you get an 8, choose lower, and if you get a 2, choose higher
3: Play Concentration whenever you’re low on coins. It’s a 100% win game and gives you about twice the coins you spent on it. Playing the 5k enough times should give you loads of coins and it’s generally just really useful for keeping coins in the Raylong quest. Don’t forget that you can get retros through it, though. If you’re chaining then you might want to have a full party so you don’t have to take the egg.

My advice is that you just have to make sure that you don't run out of gc and that you bet 100 gc every time, other then that, it's up to the game, because it's completely random, just keep on going and don't get frustrated.
