I don't even know what to call this because this only happened a few minutes ago. I don't even know where to put this in the forms because I don't even know how to properly describe it.

Anyways, am I the only one who got a weird girl show up at the berry market after trying to put up an item for sale? If not, does anyone know what it could mean?

Do you mean Lorelei? She pops up at the berrymarket to give instructions and new recipes as you level up.

Though, I imagine you would've encountered her before already. So is this about the drifloon girl instead? She was implemented quite long ago for a halloween event. She'll randomly show up twice and you get a drifloon after the second time you encounter her.

Yeah, that kinda startled me seeing the drifloon girl because I had no context for her whatsoever. Thanks for the help!
