Trying to figure out how to gain more exp for my trainer level to rise.

I have no idea what needs to be done so I gain more levels faster.

I've looked around but haven't found any tips.

Can you help point me in the right direction?

This is a good page to look at for how to raise your trainer level. The wiki is the best place to go when you have a question. However, in the event that you can't find what you're looking for on the wiki, the help forum is where you should ask questions. :)
