The water in the fountain pulsates with golden light, but returns to normal soon after. But, before you are able to leave, a blinding glow envelops the fountain and sucks you in, and you descend d-oh, that already happened.

The fountain starts spewing dark matter from another universe. It stops after a while, but you find out that a thousand years have passed while you were watching the fountain.
