”Ok then, everybody off.” AJ looks back, he’s at the edge of the boat. ”That’s Lost Outpost It’s we’re we super jump to. Make sure you land in the building.” He nods and super jumps. Alisa follows after.

After super jumping the ink color is orange for your characters.

Amia Would shoot out a path for herself and transform into her octo form. Letting her brella go out in a line infront of her to get around quicker.

Rome inked the spot in front of her and ducked into it for a moment to refill her ink before standing and continuing to ink. It was soothing to just ink. At the moment.

The inkling held up one hand quickly and started to sign something out before remembering herself and giving up on it. ”Can anybody see it?” She shouted back, voice cracking halfway through.

Alisa gets a full charge and makes a path outward to the netted area. ”These things drop 3 golden eggs sofollow me or be ready to come!” The netted area is where the steelhead lies. AJ comes closer, prepaired.

"Okay!" Rome calls back, inking herself a path to the netted area. She pops out of the ink and waits, pausing to ink a few salmonoids that got too close.

After Salmon Run was completed the crew walked out. Alisa walks to a shack-like thing in the corner. She had 200 points just enough for this months new piece of gear. The Sailor Cap. She got it and look at it. ”Cool.” AJ was staring up at the news screen, it lit up Pearl and Marina were in there usuall spots for the news. Riley walked out of Sheldon’s with a fresh new pair of Clear Dapple Dulies.

A takoroka visor, white king tank, and the new shoes, the pearlescent squidkid ones. Comfortable, and easy to run in. ”Anything new?” She asked curiously, hands twitching as she signed out the words, even as she spoke them.

Tell the people the good news before we introduce the stages!” ”Huh? Like, right now!? Um... What was the good news again?” ”You know... The single most important celebration of our culture? The Spla-“ ”OOH! THE SPLATFEST!” ”Ding ding ding! We’ve got a Splatfest coming up quick!” Splatfests always get my ink pumping! I’ve gotta get my gear ready!” ”Yo, Marina. What’s the Splatfest theme this time?” ”Haaaaah... I’m to nervous to look. You do it.” ”Fine. The Splatfest theme is... WHAT!?” ”What is it, Pearlie? What’s the theme?! TELL MEEEEE!” ”Ok, here it comes...” Marina gulps, looking nervous. ”The Splatfest theme is...” The tv behind them lights up, Hare vs. Tortoise. ”Spring has sprung!” ”WORLDWIDE SPLATFEST INKOMING!” ”They’re the blazing-fast rabbits who like to have fun along the way: Hares!” ”Verus the slow and steady turtles who keep their eyes on the prize: Tortoises! Hey! These were the creatures they had on display at the Shellendorf Institute!” ”Yeah, the fossils of these “rabbits” were found along with an ancient fable...” ”I don’t remember the entire story, but doesn’t the tortoise win in the end?” ”Yup. The rabbit’s overconfident, So it takes a nap and ends up losing the race.” ”So, I mean... It’s right there in the fable. Tortoise is going to win the Splatfest.” ”Bahaha! You don’t get it, Marina. History only exists so we can rewrite it!” ”The question is: who would win if the tortoise and the hare had a rematch?” ”The tortoise. AND we’ve got special springtime gifts!” ”Including a new line of shoes designed by yours truly, Off the Hook!” They then continue to announce the stages.

Rome frowned thoughtfully, playing with her bracelet. Hare or tortoise? Weren’t they both extinct or something like that?

Well... Hares were supposed to be fast, right? She’d choose hare. Besides, she wasn’t a fan of the green on the promotional posters. Pink looked much nicer. It might clash with her eyes, but at least it would match her shoes!

”Cool!” She said cheerfully. ”What do you think?” She asked, waving at Amia when she spotted her in the crowd.

Rome. She had made it to Inkopolis just as the announcements started. She looked around. ”So this is the new place? Where’s Callie and Marie?” She was talking to herself sounding like she was trying to talk to someone. ”Also Off the Hook? These two don’t even look related!” She looks near Grizz Co. Marie? What’s with the kimono and umbrella? She speed walks over to Marie but Marie plops down the grate she was standing on.

”Oh, me too!” The girl announced cheerfully, shifting her dualies to keep them from digging into her sides. She’d decided to go with the dualies today, being in more of an energetic mood than usual. She needed to burn energy, and a charger wasn’t great at that.

She turned a bit to answer Sierra (the answer probably would’ve just been “who?”), and was just in time to watch the other walk to the grate, watching Marie disappear down it.

She tugged AJ’s sleeve. ”Did you see that?” She asked before drifting over toward Sierra and the grate curiously. In all her time here, she’d never noticed it. Go figure.
