When I was at the lab the ditto was shiny I clicked it and it said hihihihi what does it do

Whenever you reload the lab there’s a chance for a shiny ditto to appear.
If it appears there’s a change it will say “hiihihihi!” (Something like that)
If it talks there’s a chance of receiving a shiny ditto plushie.

I found the rumble area Charmander shiny but I never clicked it would I have gotten a reward?
