Jokina pokes Jax, “You fell asleep again. Are you okay?”

Laila has woken up and was training with a sword in the training area, broken dummies litter the floor behind her, “Stupid Laila, he has a girlfriend. That’s what you get for being you.”

“I’m not so sure about that smart part.” She finally closes the gap between them and kisses him, “Because I never said I’m not interested in knowing who you became. I know the Tim I knew is still in there, I just have to find him.”

Laila sits down in the training area, “And now I’m sweaty, tired, and still angry. Go me.” She takes a drink of water and finds a spot that isn’t full of destroyed dummies, and starts to meditate.
