If you do, what are your favorite genres or books? Do you also enjoy writing? If so, what do you enjoy writing most?

Figured I could ask this since we kind of have to read a little anyway in order to play through most Pokémon games. Haha I enjoy non-fiction like science and weird history and some fantasy, particularly if it includes magic, dragons (or anthropomorphic animals) and elves or even the undead, although I have a strong distaste for Twilight. I also enjoy horror. Some of my non-fiction examples are stuff like “Halloween: From Pagan Festival to Trick Or Treat” and “30-Second Einstein: The Fundamentals of Einstein Explained In Thirty Seconds Or Less” and some of my fiction examples are “Harry Potter”, “Redwall”, “Warm Bodies”, “Frankenstein; Or, The Modern Prometheus”, “The String of Pearls” and “Inheritance Cycle/Eragon”.

I also sometimes enjoy writing. I have done fanfiction, poetry and short stories.

I absolutely love to read and write. Most of the stuff I read is still in the kid's section like Warriors and Skulduggery Pleasant, both of which are very loosely in there. Anything fantasy is right up my alley. Have you read all of Redwall? I haven't, and I only have like five of the books.

...usually I write fan fiction. It's appropriate I swear! I write fan fics on quotev, what about you?

I love Sun’s character in it a lot. It's been a while since I've read new books but I do enjoy a good book when I find one! The latest one I read was Inferno by Dan Brown and it was so immersive that I couldn't stop reading. What an experience.
I mostly enjoy thrilling stories or horror so I've been reading those most often. If someone asks what kinds of books I like, I usually reply with "Scary books!"

Yeah, the horror books definitely have an allure not possessed by other genres! I don’t honestly enjoy being too scared because I have anxiety disorder, but I still enjoy a certain level of horror beyond the tolerance of quite a few people on this planet. I find that sometimes, the ghosts and monsters of horror are more relatable for me than many other kinds of characters. Either that or there’s just something else odd I like about them. For instance, with Stephen King’s “IT”, I just love clowns. I find them extremely cute, not scary. Of course, blood in the sink or hanging out in a sewer are both creepy, but I like being creeped out... and the creature’s clown form, Pennywise, is just adorable to me. Lol

I love reading! I can spend the whole day reading good book. One of my favs is Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts.

It mainly depends for me. It can be of any category or genre but it also depends whether it looks interesting to read or not, I also like stories that have a proper ending to it instead of going on nonstop you know. I feel like all stories should have an ending because I believe that's what keeps them interesting, I get sad whenever I read a story I like then it just ends up either getting butchered, rushed, or abandoned. If there's something in particular that I love, it's game lore and I know that's not really a book to read but it can still be writing, it can also be read through dialog and story is quite important to the game itself too.

Love sci-fi books, honestly anything pertaining to a fictitious, futuristic story is my go-to. Currently engrossed in "The Game is Life" Series. Super interesting storyline that brings one's own reality into question. 10/10 Yelp review.

I read a lot of books, simply because I do a literature degree at university, my favourite genre tends to be dystopias, and alzo why I'm thrilled by a lot of pokemon universe theories, and write some myself from time to time.

Best dystopia I've read as of now: The Power by Naomi Alderman.

Just finished The Giver, by Lois Lowry, I rated 5/5 stars.

This book surprised me, I didn't expect it to be that good! It makes you be grateful for the life we have

I also like reading Harry Potter, Eat Love and Pray, Summer series from Jennie Han and other romantic fiction. Im interested with self help books such as Rich Dad, Poor Dad, The Present, so on..
Recently, I'm quite lazy therefore I choose audio book when driving.
