I have been playing Pokémon since only Red, Blue and Yellow versions existed for the Gameboy... I never met a legitimate shiny without cheat codes to make them shiny until I was wondering around somewhere one time (with a cheat to trigger any species of Pokémon in existence in the wild) on Soul Silver... that has been the only shiny I ever met that I didn’t create. It was a Hawlucha.

Yeah, the horror books definitely have an allure not possessed by other genres! I don’t honestly enjoy being too scared because I have anxiety disorder, but I still enjoy a certain level of horror beyond the tolerance of quite a few people on this planet. I find that sometimes, the ghosts and monsters of horror are more relatable for me than many other kinds of characters. Either that or there’s just something else odd I like about them. For instance, with Stephen King’s “IT”, I just love clowns. I find them extremely cute, not scary. Of course, blood in the sink or hanging out in a sewer are both creepy, but I like being creeped out... and the creature’s clown form, Pennywise, is just adorable to me. Lol

It seems we are in the same boat with Redwall. Haha I have not read every one of the books, either. But I love the ones I have. My favorite one when I was a teenager was “Outcast of Redwall”. I love Sun’s character in it a lot. I still get some fiction from the YA section and sometimes I enjoy short stories written for even younger audiences (they make fantastic practice reading aloud for if you ever want to become a teacher or a parent). But I pick most of my stuff up now out of the adult section because it’s hrd to find decent gothic literature or horror in the YA. But the YA section is the home of my favorite ways to blend horror with fantasy normally. I mean... Miss Peregrine’s Home has definitely earned its place on my shelf next to Harry Potter and Inheritance (and Warm Bodies, although I have almost considered moving that one a notch down my list because Isaac ignored me every time I didn’t speak to him about publishing business and I really wanted to be friends with him beyond that because I liked him to begin with because I could tell we would click just by the way he wrote R’s character.)

My parents took me to a restaurant that has these candle holders that look like they have Unknown Pokémon carved into them. Lol

I was just thinking about the fact that we can breed our Pokémon on here and I wondered... Does PokéHeroes also utilize an EVStats system like the games?

If you do, what are your favorite genres or books? Do you also enjoy writing? If so, what do you enjoy writing most?

Figured I could ask this since we kind of have to read a little anyway in order to play through most Pokémon games. Haha I enjoy non-fiction like science and weird history and some fantasy, particularly if it includes magic, dragons (or anthropomorphic animals) and elves or even the undead, although I have a strong distaste for Twilight. I also enjoy horror. Some of my non-fiction examples are stuff like “Halloween: From Pagan Festival to Trick Or Treat” and “30-Second Einstein: The Fundamentals of Einstein Explained In Thirty Seconds Or Less” and some of my fiction examples are “Harry Potter”, “Redwall”, “Warm Bodies”, “Frankenstein; Or, The Modern Prometheus”, “The String of Pearls” and “Inheritance Cycle/Eragon”.

I also sometimes enjoy writing. I have done fanfiction, poetry and short stories.

So what about you all? :)

I like the Ghost type the most because I enjoy spooky, Halloweeny things. I love a lot of other types too, though. Not just Ghost.

I started with Pokémon Blue, Red and Yellow versions when they had just come out when I was a little girl. I think my first was probably Charmander because I loved dragons. I didn’t play Yellow until I had played Red and Blue.

I usually dislike referring to myself as “trash” in any way, but I will sometimes say I am furry trash. I don’t really think I’m trash in the normal sense of the word, though... XD I guess you could say I say it because I don’t care what people say. Mostly because the things they assume about furries just don’t apply to me at all. They think furries do things together in their suits that are not okay to mention and I don’t do that. They think furries do those things as well to actual animals. I don’t and I have never met a real furry who does and if I ever do meet someone who does I won’t stand being friends with them or letting them see my cats. Lol A lot of people also think furries all have to be LGBT+, but I’m a straight woman who is just open minded toward others. Lol

And, as it turns out, my main fursona is also my Ponysona. I am also a Pegasister. It isn’t my top favorite cartoon series, but I do love MLP:FiM. I especially love it’s messages of acceptance and open mindedness toward others with every pony being vastly different from each other and each one having to learn to accept the others for who they really are. MLP in and of itself also carries some fairly bad labels which I also reject. Like “MLP fans are immature” or “MLP fans are trolls”. It is true that a lot of trolls hopped on our pony cart a few years back, but we really are not like that, least of all myself. I also had a very traumatic run-in with two other MLP fans four years ago which has made me try to focus more than ever on learning the friendship lessons and trying to apply some of them to my real relationships to improve them...

So I’m actually a Pony, but I claim furry because I also really enjoy creating fursonas!!!

Usually stuff like Kingdom Hearts, Harvest Moon or Okami. But my birthday wish when I was five years old was to get to have a video game where I could either raise dinosaurs and love them or play AS the dinosaur and maybe raise and love my own babies. I finally got my wish because Steam started getting dinosaur video games in the “play as animal” category! So I’ve mostly been playing ARK: Survival Evolved (with the Play As Dino mod) and a dinosaur evolution and breeding MMO called The Isle. Mostly ARK though because there are a lot of mean people on The Isle who constantly break the rules.

I think I used to use this site years ago and now I’m back. :P I am 26 and have been a Pokémon trainer since I was seven years old in 1999. I was one of the only girls at my school who was into it! Haha I think I found this site or one a lot like it at least around 2009 and now I’m back. I realized clickable adoptables seem to work better for me than the usual kind because I can send these to my friends much easier!

Anyway... I’m 26 and a college student going for a second degree. My first degree is a BA in the Arts with a minor in digital journalism and the degree I am working on now is a major in English because I would like to write books sometime. Especially children’s books. Because I have Asperger’s Syndrome and I feel it would be better to make books that help children learn to understand it for the sake of their friends, siblings or other peers which may also have it. (And one of my childhood obsessions was Pokémon!)

So, how are you all doing? :) What’s everyone’s favorite Pokémon? (Mine is Mewtwo because I’m also a fur and find him attractive haha :D )
