I dunno if my phone is just not compatible with fishing or what?? But after attempting many times I have yet to catch a fish. You press pull as the bar goes over the shadow of the Magikarp correct?

Also thought this was help not suggestions

Yeah ,my phone is not the best either with this game. its harder to aim for the shadow and sometimes my phone cant catch up. But yes, you are correct, you must press pull as it goes over the shadow.

Yeah, only a select few can actually fish using their mobile phones.. :O

But, I cannot.. :/ *kicks phone*

I just use my laptop (with a computer mouse) so I could easily catch fish at Emera Beach. ;)

I won the "Event Spriting Contest" as it says on News Announcement #224.

There exists greater lag on mobiles, so, in order to catch the fish, you should press the pull button 'before' it reaches the shadow. How early you have to pull it may/maynot depend on your internet speed. Just give it a few tries to determine how early you have to press it, and then fishing on mobile should get a little easier.
