Varan used his hidden ability:

"Light of Judgement!"

(This is something I just came up with based on the abilities of the Paladin in World of Warcraft. Sorry, but it would have been impossible for Varan to be just a normal guy...)

A blast of flaming darkness comes towards the Knight.

The Demon Knight Growls “Your right. As much as I want to kill him.......” He pulls a scale out of his cloak “Have fun with this, Knight.”

A red dragon appears out of the magic of the scale. “Lets go.”

Varan mounted his Charger Horse laughing:

"I took down the Destroyer and you dare insult me like this?"

He charged (pun intended) under the Dragon and cut its gut, ending with a victory pose.

(Explanation: At the start of the RP, Varan was jaded and old, trying to find a new Stalwart to take his place. Using Light of Judgement, he took the souls of the demons he killed and transformed them into pure Light, which brought him back to his prime.)

(Yeah, but you still can’t catch up with a chocobo.)

After awhile in riding in silence “Deamon. Deamon was my Human name. Calling me by either name dosnt matter to me. Since I attacked you, here. Take this to recover.” He throws a Hi-Potion over to Zia.

(He didn't- he just killed the Dragon with the same technique he used 50 years ago against the Destroyer. The Destroyer is a story for another time.)

Varan took his Charger in the opposite direction to the town of Fabul. A guard asked:

"Are you the one who killed the Destroyer 50 years ago?"

Varan answered:

"Yes."

The guard:

"Okay."

The King pointed to a spring:
