Does tipping at the Los Seashellos restaurant do anything?

If you tip 100 PD or the maximum tip every time you buy food at that restaurant, you'll have a random chance of getting one of the 3 kinds of Waiter Dresses, it's a forme-change item for a Simisear (Red), Simipour (Blue), or Simisage (Green). ;)
