Sorry if im being an idiot but im wondering how to place a gif on my profile.

im pretty sure its a custom thing but i cant make it work :(

As explained in the BBCode Guide, you just need to get the direct URL link for an image or gif [for example: this gif] and then paste it within the BBCode for it, being
[img]IMAGE URL[/img]


It would make the gif turn into the following...
