When they arrive, they can see a black shape in the distance. The tail perking out of the cloak says it's a Meowth. He looks at them over the brim of his sunglasses, then makes a run for it.

Momo leaps at the opportunity. She dashes after the Meowth, catching up very quickly, then pounces on him. "Why did you steal that money?!"

"I had to! You don't understand! I needed that money!"

"For what?"

"I lost a bet with a pal, and I'll be dead by this afternoon if I don't gather up the money!"

"That's your own fault! Who are you?"

"Maxwell Meowth. I'm the only in my living family without the name Mewton."

Momo climbs off of him as the others catch up.

"Look, I'll give it back. Just don't sic your friends on me!"
