Once Kale realized that he is indeed standing on both legs, has a solid ground underneath him and didn't lose any limbs he mouths a quick Thanks to Shaifty but seems to block out the comments about his cape and Lanis presence completely, as he continues on his way outside faster than before, truly using the speed Jolteons have at their disposal.

He can hear the blood rushing through his head and suddenly feels every bad thing that happened today hit him at once, only prompting him to run faster. Just find a quiet place and that's it. Everything will go from there- Just as Mama learned him.

“Yeah, most pokemon don’t like it.” Lani mused thoughtfully, retracting her feeler. Okay. That was okay. She could always apologize later- if Kale accepted an apology from her. She looked at Tikaia and smiled. “Thanks. Off days are no fun.. I hope he feels okay.” The last part was mostly a vague commented directed towards the ceiling before she shook herself. “Thanks! My mom gave them to me. You’re an artist, right?”

Blue eyes lit up very suddenly. “Woah! It’s.. it’s beaitiful!” She smiled excitedly, looking at the drawing in awe. “I’m sure he’ll love it. How could he not? It’s an amazing drawing and you’re an amazing Pokémon.” She said, eyes sparkling with fascination. She’d never been the artsy type, but that never stopped her from trying. Or just being amazed by other pokemon’s works. Or both.
