Thankfully, Fare wasn't able to witness any of this from a corner inside. Kid probably would've been traumatized if he did.
He just goes inside and tries sleeping.

Silver had went home that night. Too much stuff had been going on.

Tikaia stayed, but she was debating on whether or not to do the same. She hadn't seen Kale since the day before, Lani probably hated her, and she almost died in her sleep! She shook her head. 'It's another day. Maybe, just maybe, it'll change my mind.'

“Waaaah!” There was Lani, bursting through the doors again. “I heard what happened!” She made a beeline for Tikaia. “Are you okay?” She asked urgently, blue eyes blown wide with something along the lines of fear— or maybe terror was a better word for it?”

“Why wouldn’t I be okay? I heard someone screaming so I came back but I guess I was too late— Do you want a hug?” Lani offered. Or is that too much right now, considering whatever’s going on between us? Also because you just almost died, is hug too claustrophobic right now?

Tikaia nodded, going to hug Lani. It took all of her willpower to not cry again. 'That doubt I had about loving her? Died the second I almost went to the afterlife. Let's hope it stays that way...'

Shaifty: my advice, stay away from the majority. Your best bet is to find a quiet place where you can think, talk, dance, sing, whatever.
