Definitely bringing in a Ponyta or a Rapidash! I'd love that as a Pokemon IRL...ooh, or maybe a Charmander so I could care for it and have it evolve all the way through to a Charizard! *goes on and on about the potential pokemon*

I mean, you do make a pretty dang good point with Arceus. If they or one of the other god-like pokemon could bring even more pokemon to life, I would totally take that offer up!!

Buuuut, if there were no chance of ever getting another Pokemon, I'd probably pick Electrike or Cubone. It's hard to choose between my two top children ;~;
More likely Electrike, I suppose? Simply because it'd be soft, like a pup! Also, I'd have no need to a taser anymore. My Electrike sidekick could take care of that for me!! And electricity bills? Well, still a problem...but mayhaps they'd be a little lower, if Electrike could charge my phone and computer for me every once in a while. I wouldn't make her run the whole house :<
