Keir who had been trying to get the groups attention since he woke up on the beach finally got irritated and shouted "Hi!" Causing him to be out of breath.

Makoto chuckled, smiling. He was holding the apple in his mouth again, and waved with both hands. he seems happy. Maybe he'd try to say hi when he finishes that apple...

Rory waved, sortof, only using two fingers- his index and middle, to be exact- and huffed. "I'm Rory. Hopefully you're better than the rest of these idiots. And try not to fall into the pond like th-" he cut off, realizing what he was gonna say could endager him. "First time Lucky Doofus and Lucky Trash avoided an insult. That's good luck, if I say so."

Makoto finally finished the apple, and laughed again, throwing the core into the trash- or trying. It hit the rim, missed, and hit his leg. "Ah, oh well." He was still smiling when he threw it away. "Killing summer camp, huh. It's a bit too happy for that right now!"

"Somebody's suddenly perky. Thought of the girlfriend you left behind?" He shook his head, looking around. "Ever heard of a Micropachycephalosaurus? Wouldn't be surprised if you didn't. Everyone seems to forget." He fiddled with the claw again. "Or they just don't bother. Longest name for a dinosaur. But! Who cares? You're not paleontologists."

(I know. I love it t b h. The name just slips once in a while, so I had to google for spelling)

Makoto looked to Mukuro. "You missed Rory being a nerd about a micro-something-or-the-other-saurus." He chuckled, waving his hands. "I think it was meant to be an insult..." he mumbled the last bit, starting to rub his chin.

"That would be great!" Makoto said, with a wider smile. "Maybe sometime we can actually go swimming, instead of falling into the pond." He glared at Rory, trying to make an I dare you to insult me about it face, but only succeeding in looking like a cute goofball.

(it's funny because he's younger than most of the dr1 cast, iirc )

Yumi had made a sandcastle with a moat with water and was now making a giant hole for water to be in. She laughs to herself, but was genuinely questioning that if there was a murder, would anyone suspect her? Especially if was a bow and arrow...

Makoto's mood plummeted. His smile fell, replaced by a look of worry. "We won't kill eachother! It's not like anybody does it for a living... right?" He couldn't keep an edge of fear from his voice.
