Do pokemon of the alolan appearance evolve normally? Noticed both my alolan meowth and alolan vulpix aren't evolving, no matter how high their levels get. Or is the needed level for evolution just higher than normal?

Pokémon from the Alolan region have the same evolution requirements as in the games.
Meowth (Alola) evolves through Happiness [Soothe Bell or Acupuncture]
Vulpix (Alola) evolves through an Ice Stone.
