I have a Pokémon stuck in my party I released its 3 times and it keep showing up could u plz help me

Is it busy with something? Like being in a trade, wondertrade, in auction house, on a rumble mission, on your battle team, in the daycare etc.?
The pokemon won’t be release-able if it’s “busy” with something
