"Shes got a fine sense of humor when I'm feeling down, And I'm
running to her when the sun goes down. She takes away my trouble,
she take away my grief. She takes away my heartache, And I go right
to sleep. She give me love, love, love, love, crazy love." Robert
continued singing as JJ fell asleep. He gently pressed a kiss to
her temple before getting up and leaving the room. "Night little
butterfly." He whispered.
"... Oh. Wow. I should write you a song." Drew smiled as she
slipped the door open to her room, shutting the hallway light off
as she noticed all the doors shut.
"Doubtful. I've been told I can sing - I disagree - but I
definitely can't write." Drew said, pulling out a t-shirt and
pajama pants. "e right back. You can change in here, if you want."
She offered, heading to the bathroom.
Robert nodded at that as he got changed for the night. Without a
shirt it was revealed that he had three large scars running from
his right shoulder to his left hip and what looked to be a scar
from surgery where his heart was located. He stretched slightly and
popped his back.
Drew walked back in, rubbing at her eyes, which widened when she
saw Robert. "Uh! Robert, what happened here?" She asked in a harsh
whisper, shutting her door.
"I got them all at the same time. It was three months before I
broke up with you." Robert mused as he sat down on her bed. "Jamie,
Ro, and I were dealing with a nest and got split up. I ended up
running into a large majority of the nest. I was able to knock out
quite a few before I got overwhelmed. That's when they started
tearing at me. I ended up with the scratches on my arms, along with
the three here and a stab wound here." He mused pointing to where
the scar above his heart was. "Of course I had more wounds than
that but they didn't scar over. Anyways apparently when I was
stabbed it went straight to the heart so when I was found I was
immediately rushed to the hospital where they did surgery. It was
touch and go for me. I think I have the record of most times a
patient's heart stopped."
Drew was silent for a moment. She softly ran her hand over the
scars on his hip and shoulder. "Brutal." she whispered. "A-at least
you're not dead. Why didn't you tell me? We were still together!"
"Because I didn't want you to worry. I didn't want you to worry
about the fact you nearly lost me when you already had so much on
your plate. Plus I was still in recovery." Robert mused as he
shivered at her touch.
