The two guilds arrive at Mist Valley (beginning town). Most pokemon are sleeping, and the guilds are unnoticed by the town.

Dini's gongs ring again to signal a guild meeting. As soon as all the guild members had arrived, Bandit begins to talk. "Thank you to everyone who came to help the Ridge Guild yesterday. The Ridge Guild's location was unfortunately destroyed, and so what's left of them is now staying here." The Infernape nods. "Moving on to other news-" Bandit is cut short as a sudden darkness clouds over the guild, but just as suddenly disappears. The Infernape frantically whispers in Bandit's ear. Bandit quickly says "Umm.. . If you fought with Himmelen and myself yesterday, please come up to the stage. Quickly!" Before anyone has a chance to move, the darkness returns and a pair of red eyes is seen. All of a sudden there is chaos, with fights breaking out. In the darkness a red gleam from many pokemon is noticed.

Bandit picks Soul up by the scruff and brings him out of the chaos. He does so likewise with other volunteers, so all the Red's are under the stage while loyal members of Zephyr and Ridge Guild alike fight on higher ground.

All of a sudden, you see three shapes jump from the very bottom up to the stage. They're an Ursaring, Pangoro, and Beartic. Himmelen growls. "The three exiles. What are you doing here?" Upon seeing them, you notice... they're all black! The Ursaring responds with a smirk and a slash, just barely missing Himmelen. The Pangoro heads towards Bandit and the Beartic spies his eye on the shiny Absol.
