Just how well you fake

A perfect mistake

"Careful not to let them be,"

"People will hurt you

Make one wrong step and then you're done,"

Push them too far and

next thing you know then,

Johnny's got his gun.

But we don't have to bring the war

This isn't worth fighting for

Put down the gun and shut the door,

We will stand for this no more,

Just close your eyes and hurt no more,

We can help you fight the pain

If you can love us all the same,

I can love you all the same,

Even if school life is insane.

I meant it as more of a small thing where people could put poems (Mostly about the recent shootings, as many schools aren't allowing the national walk-out.) And discuss said poems and meanings. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. Is there a better place I can publicly put this?
