"They definitely do look promising, I don't think there's anyone
else more suitable." Latias said in agreement and glanced at
Scar and Deirdre.
Scar smiled at Deirdre and blinked when she noticed Latias was
looking straight at her. "Um...why're you looking at me?" She said
nervously and stepped closer to Deirdre.
"Because Latios and I want to give you both something before we
help you find your way home." Latias said kindly.
Lion gently squeezed Faye's hand and walked towards the forest that
Scar and Deirdre dissappeared into. He had no signs of fear in his
eyes as he walked into the forest. He was just driven by concern
and worry to care about his fears.
“Give us what?” Deirdre asked in confusion. “P-please be a-quick. I
wanna go home.”
she added and frowned as she kept her gaze focused on Latios and
Latias.
”Patience, child. We believe you are worthy holders of the
[summon item name I fogit].” Latios gently explined.
Latias looked over to scar and Deirdre. She could hear Lion and
Faye's voices in the distance. "Mom and dad." Scar said in shock as
she barely made them out and looked over her shoulder.
"The red and blue soul dews they will help you on your
journey." Latias said gently. "It seems as your parents are
looking for you so we cannot explain what they are for, but I
promise you, Lion and Faye will know what these are." Latias
said gently and handed Scar the red soul dew.
"Scar! Deirdre!" Lion called out as loud as he could, he stayed
close to Faye as he called out his daughters names.
Latios smiled as he handed Deirdre the blue soul dew. Deirdre
looked at it in awe of it before looking back up. “T-Thanks.” She
said beige eturning as she heard her parents.
”You are worthy. Now. Go to your parents.” Latios smiled
before disappearing.
Latias dissappeared as well and Scar headed out of the cave. She
looked at Deirdre as she followed her outside. "Mom? Dad?" She
called in response to Lion and Faye's calls.
Lion was the first to hear Scar's call. He looked over to Faye, "I
heard Scar." He said quickly and pointed in the direction of the
cave where the voice came from.
Scar followed Deirdre and soon saw Faye. Lion was following her
quickly. Scar ran over to Faye and hugged her mom's leg, as she
wasn't that tall yet, and shivered slightly. "Mom, we were so
scared." She blurted out quickly.
Lion sighed in relief and went over to Deirdre. He picked her up
and hugged her. "Thank Arceus you're both safe."
“Girls!” Faye tried not to cry and successfully didn’t as she
picked up Scar and held her close. “I’m so glad you’re okay. You’re
okay now.” She whispered.
“Dad!” Deirdre held tight to Lion. “I was sacred! But I’m okay!”
Scar held Faye close and nodded. "Y-yeah were safe now with you
guys." She said gently and buried her face in Faye's shoulder.
Lion nodded and looked at Deidre, "yeah you're okay. We're all okay
now." He sighed softly and hugged Deirdre tight. "Please, both of
you, don't run off like that again." He said softly.
Scar nodded in response to your Lion. She was still shivering
slightly as she was terrified of being lost. She was just relieved
to be back with her parents and Deidre.
Lion looked at Deidre and gently kissed her on the head. "It's
alright, De." He said gently and looked at the sky. The sun was
setting now. "We should get back home, I'll make dinner tonight."
He said gently more so to Faye than anyone else.
Scar glanced at her mom and smiled, "sorry we ran off." She said
quietly to Lion and Faye. "We didn't mean to scare you both."
Lion looked at Deirdre and Scar. "It's alright. We know you didn't
mean to scare us. Just make sure you don't run off again like that,
alright?" He said softly and followed Faye back home. He still
didn't have any signs of fear as his family walked through the
forest and towards their house.
Scar held onto Faye tightly, she was carefully holding the red soul
dew in her right hand.
Scar nodded in agreement with Deirdre. "They said that we were
worthy of holding their summons items." She said happily.
Lion smiled, "that's great news, though I recommend not telling
everyone about them." He said gently and pulled the rainbow wing
out to show it to Deirdre. "Only certain people can have summons
items, and if you have one then a legendary trusts you." He said
softly.
Scar nodded and looked at the star piece. She glanced at her red
soul dew for a moment and yawned. "I wanna make it into a
bracelet." She said sleepily.
Lion smiled in amusement and tucked his rainbow wing back into his
pocket. "Let's get you two home." He said softly.
