The ponyta Scar was on followed Deirdre's ponyta. Scar smiled cheerfully and looked at the Pokémon.

Lion smiled and nodded. He glanced at the sky for a moment and noticed it was beginning to get dark. "We should head home soon." He said softly.

Scar nodded and yawned in a sleepy manner.

[idea what if something happens to Scar and Deirdre to get their summons items.]

[any ideas on what could happen? I'm thinking that they could go missing for a week or so, and Latios and Latias can help them find their ways home.]

Lion chuckled in amusement at Deirdre. "Let's go get dinner, we'll come back one day, De." He promised softly.

Deirdre didn't hear either and barely noticed them run away from the carnival.


"Scarlett! Deirdre!" Faye shouted as she weaved qquickly through the crowd.

Scar blinked and looked over her shoulder. She froze as she noticed they had left the carnival and were now nearing a forest. "Um, De." Scar whispered in slight fear as she noticed that they were separated from their parents.

"Faye!" Lion yelled and shoved his way through the crowd. He looked at a few trainers apologetically as they gave him a few rude looks. He caught up to Faye and looked around. His golden eyes were filled with concern and fear as he noticed they lost sight of their daughters. "Arceus..." He whispered in concern and gently placed a hand on Faye's shoulder.

"Scar, where are we....?" Deirdre asked as she looked around in mild fear. She'd had a fear of the dark as her only fear.


"SCARLETT! DEIRDRE!" Faye screamed into the night in fear as she began to cry. She continued sprinting into the forest but soon came back and sobbed.

"U-um..." Scar said quietly and glanced at Deirdre. She was afraid of getting lost. She shook her head clear and grabbed the backpack off her back. Inside her bag, she kept Lion's old, but no longer in service, pokegear. The map of Hoenn was still on it and able to be accessed. "D-dad's map says we're in the route between S-slateport? And New maw..." She trailed off as she didn't know how to read that well.

A Plusle looked at the two from a patch of grass and blinked curiously.

Lion had followed Faye into the forest, and managed to hide his fear for the forest as concern for his girls was the only thing on his mind. "We'll find them. Scar still has my old pokegear, I'm sure they'll try to find their way to the gym in New Mawville if they manage to load the map up." He whispered reassuringly, his voice choked up slightly and he pulled Faye into a hug.

"Huh?" Deirdre tilted her head and shivered. "I-I'm scared, Scar. M-Maybe we should fi-find somewhere to sleep." she whispered, unable to feel confident in this situation.



"Li-Lion..." Faye whisipered and sonbbed into his shoulder.
