Lion nodded, and chuckled in amusement. "Very surprising. I
remembered the time I forced Tiger to come on to a public beach. It
didn't work well" he said with a sigh.
Lion blinked, and sat up. He placed his hand on her shoulder
carefully. "It's alright if you don't want to talk about her. I
mean, I understand." He said gently.
"Figure I should tell you sooner or later." Faye sighed. "See, I'm
adopted, but I wasn't orphaned. Traditionally orphaned, I mean, my
mother was murdered and my dad was non existent."
Lion nodded slowly, and frowned. "I'm sorry to hear that. I don't
care if your adopted if that's what you're afraid of." He said
gently, and looked at Faye in concern.
"I've never told anyone." Faye admitted. "It's like, a demon, I
guess. My mother was a criminal. She was murdered and the murderers
were after me. So I was placed in some sort of protection, and
everything about me was changed. My family, my name."
Lion blinked and looked at Faye. He then wrapped his arms around
her in a gentle hug. "You don't need to tell me your real name, I
mean I understand if you don't feel comfortable with that, or if
you cant remember it" he said gently. "Though I will not stand by
and allow a bunch of murders try and hurt you. If they return, I'll
try and keep you safe." He promised gently.
"...Thank you. I don't think they can get to me now, but I think
the oritection helps." Faye giggled, kissing his cheek quickly.
"... It's Cass, by the way. Cassandra."
Lion nodded, and looked at Faye with a small smile. "Whatever you
go by? I don't mind, I'll love you either way." He said gently, and
looked towards the ocean once more. "I'm sorry you had to go
through that when you were that young. The only thing I had to go
through when I was about that age was Tiger's disappearance." He
sighed.
