Lion nodded in response, and stretched. "Yeah, it has a flying gym." He replied with a nod, "anyway, we should be in Slateport soon." Lion said kindly, and walked out of Lillycove.

“Oh, cool!” Faye said, jogging a bit to catch up. “I miss traveling to Gyms. I completed the Kanto set but didn’t go to the League.” She said.

Lion nodded, and smiled. "Yeah." He said gently, and continued through the route. A Wingull flew over their heads and headed into the next route.

Lion nodded, and smiled. He continued though the route, and soon they arrived in Slateport. "Ha look we made it!" he said cheerfully.

Lion smiled, "yeah we did!" He said cheerfully, and went towards the ocean that was shining in the sunlight. There were few trainers on the beach at the moment.

"Yeah" Lion said in an amused tone, and grabbed Faye's hand. He then lead her to a less crowded spot on the beach. There was a Zigzagoon that was digging in the sand with a Poocheyenna. The Zigzagoon looked up, and barked cheerfully as Lion walked over.

Lion nodded in agreement, and smiled. He tossed a cookie to the Zigzagoon, and the Poocheynna. He called out his Pokemon, and sat down in the sand. Blast ran into the ocean, and cheered. A buzz then went off signaling to Lion that his pokégear had gone off. He pulled it out and checked his messages. It was from Elm.

'Hey Tiger told me you missed his championship battle. What happened?' The professor asked. Lion blinked, he had been ignoring Tiger's messages, instead he responded to the professor.

'Eh I just wanted to get away for a bit I'm in Hoenn. Everything's alright, how'd his battle go?' He asked and sent the message.

Faye called out a few of her Pokemon, her Kingdra going into the ocean immediately, while Flareon stayed away. She glanced at Tiger before rubbing a small amount of sunscreen on her arms.

Lion smiled, and sat down next to Faye. He put his pokégear next to him and watched as both Blast, and Espeon went to play in the water.

"Yeah." Lion said in agreement and smiled. He leaned back in the sand and looked up to the sky. "Not having to worry about evil organizations, or a region falling apart." He said quietly.
