I don't know if this has been suggested before or not but if it has, please tell me and I'll do something about this thread.

So you know how we can gift items and such in the GTS? Why can't we do the same for Pokemon?
It would be easier for the people who sell shiny slots that way the person receiving a shiny wouldn't have to trade one of their Pokemon for it. It would also be good for contests offering Pokemon as prizes.
However, I do see how it wouldn't be that useful to people who don't do those things so it's kind of a mixed situation. Plus I know nothing of coding so I don't know if this would be easy or hard to code into the system.

I support, but I also saw kind of a big problem. What if someone just decides to gift some random person a bunch of pokémon that they don't want, for example, the not shiny pokémon from a shiny hunt? I suggest adding a limit to how many pokémon you can gift a person each day.

Yeah! Along with the gifting Pokemon, maybe they can implement a feature to decline gifts if it's gonna be that.

I'm sorry, but there's a reason Riako decided not to make gifting pokémon possible. As that reason still stands [it would give too much of an advantage to cheaters in various ways], I highly doubt this will ever be implemented.

The ability to decline gifts, on the other hand, might, but that's a different suggestion and should be posted in a separate thread.
