Sign-Ups

Everyone starts at their home, logging onto the game uwu

Ava hummed as she logged into her favorite game, ColdLightV. She slipped on her headset, opening the voice chat before entering "rosy.witch" and her password in. Her character, Mai, spawned into the world. Their team had a small base in the middle of the woods- it was like a heavily defended fortress.

"I'm home!" Julianna yelled. The only other person likely home was her brothers, and younger sister. Julianna jogged up the stairs, turning into her room with white walls and pale orange bedding, pulling out her computer and opening the game.

Allen waved at Ava and Julianna with his character from nearby before letting out a sneeze and wincing, "Finally someone is here. I've been so bored today. I don't know why six year old me ever like sick days. I was....an idiot."

Robin sighed with relief as she watched her character appear near the base. "I was hoping that's where I had stopped you at before I went off..." Robin muttered to herself before looking back at the screen.

Cordelia rushed toward the base, her face red from exhaustion. She stumbled up to the small group and gasped. "Gosh, that was a lot of running....Ahh! My dress has a tear!" She exclaimed. She sighed and looked back up at the others. "Sorry, I just liked this dress... Anyways, it's good to see you guys."

Lolah sighed, happy to have finally got her little siblings to sleep. She quickly cleaned up any mess they had made before heading up to her room a dropping into a heap on her gaming chair. "Showtime." She mused before logging into her account and watching as her character spawned in.


"Honey I'm home!" Night called in a chipper tone while giggling slightly.

"Hey, Cordelia. Why not just go to the market? You have enough gold to ask someone to sew it." Juliet pointed out, leaning on her axe.

"Eh, good point. Are we waiting for everyone else to log in before we go?" Mai asked. "Speak of the devil. Hi Night." She waved, looking up. Mai was very short, child size.

Kei quickly loaded up ColdLightV, making sure to waste no time with logging onto the servers. He scrambled around his desk, looking for his headset when he finds it on the ground. "Ah, there you are." He mutters, as he quickly types his username & password to log in. He spawns outside of his team's base.

"If you need me im in my room!" Rue yelled, as she walked into her room and turned her laptop on to load up the game. The game quickly loaded up as Rue typed her user information, now logging into the servers. "Ah..Zharia, oh how I missed playing you." Rue mutters as her character spawns by some trees that are near the base. "Great..No worries, I'm probably right by the base." Zharia says, as she walks past some trees and ends up at the back of the base.

"Yeah got a cold so I was here all day crafting arrows," He began before sneezing once again as his character winced a bit, "Docdor said I shoud be fine. Still stig like hell though. So yes, made a few hundred arrows to replace the ones used last battle."

Cordelia sat down on a stump with a sigh. "Yeah, I'll do that next time I'm in the market." She looked up and greeted Night with a smile. "Hey Night, it's good to see you." Cordelia stood up and stretched her lanky legs. "These things get so cramped..." She muttered with a scowl.

Cordelia turned and looked over at Godwin and smiled apologetically. "I would've snuck on here throughout the day but my mom is really pushing me to get my tests done...It sounds like you were productive though!"

Sakura walked to her locker, it was about time for her to go home. Like usual, it was riddled with little notes. She took one off, 'Wannabe.' She continued ripping them off of her locker, trying not to look at them. Once they were all off, she opened her locker and grabbed her stuff. Sakura locked it and stepped on the notes scattered across the floor.

(TIME SKIP)

Sakura unlocked her apartment door, throwing her bag onto the floor. "I'm home..." No answer as usual. Sakura walked to her room and plopped into her chair, logging onto ColdLightV. Pino_Cchio is now online.

"Productivity is always good. Sucks about your tests though. Glad your mother still cares though. My mother just became numb to it all." Allen replied with a chuckle followed by a few seconds of coughing. "Blegh. When will the medicine kick in?"

"I relate so much. My parents are always doubting and pushing me." Julianna said, Juliet shrugging in game. "Yeah, Mai, what are we doing today?" She asked, holding her axe.

"Well! There's a temple by Soulless Sands that should have good reweards if we raid it." Mai smiled, pointing in that direction. "Apparently the monsters are tough, and there's a boss with really good drops." She grinned.

"Yeah...cares..." Cordelia mumbled. She walked over to Godwin and patted his shoulder. "The medicine should start working in a day or two." Cordelia then looked over at Night and then Mai, "I'm up for anything. I just don't want to do anything that will wipe us out in no time..." She mumbled.

Cordelia then looked over at Rose. "Oh, hey Rose."

"Thanks," Allen mused before looking at his arrows and humming, "Maybe two dozen plain arrows..er maybe some explosive arrows...though those could hurt the team. Poison would be good but some monsters are immune to them...maybe a piercing arrow...but those are slower."

"Your school sounds so lucky, Rose. I have an essay due next week." Mai frowned. "Stupid history classes." She muttered. "Anyway! Let's go to the Soulless Sands Temple. Call your mounts, people." She said, summoning a black and red dragon.

"Riiight." Juliet muttered, calling a pure white Pegasus to ride on, climbing on top of it.

ColdLightV. An excellent place for those who have no social life. Aaron logged onto the game, resuming his quest for that huge boss that everyone seemed to talk and talk about.

"Hey, Rose." Night replied while looking at the others. Unlike the others, she wasn't to keen on telling what her home life was like. "Let's go!" She mused to Mai before summoning a shadow horse.


Lolah muted herself for a minute as two of the three voices in her head started talking.

"You should get them killed somehow during the raid." One snarked out with a laugh.

"That isn't very nice Khonsu." Another replied.

"So it would be fun, Imotep."

"No it wouldn't."

"Both of you be quiet. I won't get them killed and that is the end of that." Lolah finally snapped before unmuting herself and stepping back into her character.
