Shiny pokemon from honey tree?

I saw on the wikipedia page that Pokemon from the honey tree have a big chance of being shiny, but I want to know if that information is up to date since I haven't see any screenshot proof of it being on the up-to-date artwork and I've been trying for a good 2 weeks to get a shiny from that tree and I haven't yet..

It still depends on luck, and the chance isn't high, it's just high compared to anything except shiny hunting.

As far as I know, that information is accurate?

Although it's still kinnda luck based in my opinion, even if it is the easiest way to get shiny's. You do need to keep at it and I do recommend using Super Honey to speed it up a little (Super Honey makes Pokemon appear faster and more frequent).

How do you get super honey? :o i didn't know that was a thing. I have TONS of regular honey

@3vilwolf - you need to have at least one shiny male combee at the hive though 5 would be the best.
