The Zodiac Children
Forum-Index → Roleplay → The Zodiac ChildrenAs for recap - I think they.some were beginning to head to the library? My character is already there, waiting for everyone to catch up. But at the same time, time zones are making it difficult for some to keep up.)

She grabbed her bag which held her watch, some books, first aid kit, and some extra wool clothes just in case. She kept her fathers hunting knife with her at all times though she rarely uses it. Now ready with all her items she double checked if she had all her stuff and covered herself a little more before pushing open the door and going out into the day back to return the books she borrowed on herbalism.
The cool brisk air nipped at her nose but the sun felt warm and inviting. She opened her small dark purple umbrella and briskly went over to the library. She enjoyed the walk but it was quite a ways away since she was quite far on a semi hidden farm away from the regular living. She was soon near the library and once she was at the doors she flung them open and shuffled inside and closed up her umbrella and shook off the last of the cold from the outside.

She rarely made contact with the other kids of the area since her parents passed. She didn't mind being alone though it was hard at times. Before he could answer her she slipped her books into the return slot and turned back to Mike.

The book she had found, was leather bound like most of the other books in the library. It wasn't a huge book, but it was dusty and appeared to be covered in scratches and scuff marks. On its spine, in dull gold, cursive lettering, was the title "Seals of Time". She shrugged.
'I guess it's worth a try...'
Kiara had managed to get it down, without falling a or knocking anything over. It wasn't at all heavy, like some of the older books here. However, some of the pages appeared loose, threatening to spill from the slightest touch. With the book in hand, she took it back to one of the desks she'd settled at, earlier, at the front of the library.
Alex walked past Hayden and Marion and went straight into the Library... he passed a guy and a girl talking... Alex walked past them too when he saw a girl with an old book... "Hello! What is your name..." Alex greeted... "And what's that book?"
(This is to Kiara, FYI)
"I'm Kiara-Zia Ianua, but just Kiara is fine," she shrugs, "And the book, I'm not sure. It gives off a weird vibe, but maybe I'm just crazy. I don't recognise you. You are..?"
Kiara shoots the book with a cold glare and sighs.
"I'm not sure what you can help with. To be honest, I'm not even sure if there's a cure. There's still half a library to search through. Or maybe you could gather everyone in one place, so, you know, nothing bad can happen to anyone? But, I'm going to try to translate this book. Just, maybe, I can find us some answers."
She flashed Alex a hopeful smile before taking a seat at the desk and opening the book.

I also feel like making this was a terrible decision - as in, with it being multiple users, and with the problem with time zones, I feel as though the rp can't be enjoyable? If you get what I mean. It's none of y'alls fault, besides mine. You can probably tell planning isn't a strength of mine ^^"
I'm on the fence about ending it. Or if there are some people that want to carry it on, then maybe restart it as a "private" rp, with a smaller group with multiple characters each?)
