According to the message at the top of the advent calendar: You have opened 14 out of 24 doors so far.
Open at least 20 doors until Christmas and receive a special surprise!

However, I have opened all 15 possible doors. Each of those 15 doors say I have already collected the gift.

Edit: Door number 4 says this door has already been opened while the others say the gift has already been received. Does that mean I missed it? I was positive I hadn't missed any of the task.

Yes, the message for Door 4 means that the site opened it for you at reset and that you missed it.
