For those of you that currently own Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon, good news! There's a very easy shiny hunting method now in place called the Wormhole Running method. If you travel over 2,500 lightyears away in the postgame mini-game of running through Ultra Space, you can get yourself a shiny very easily; or even a shiny legendary!

Have you gotten any shinies from this method? If so, list them below! I myself have gotten a shiny Swanna~

Sadly I haven't had the time to play a lot :') (exams are in 2 days) so I'm still at the second Island. Butt I'm hyped to use this new method, have seen some youtube vids about it and it looks really nice ;3

Actually the wormhole doesn't effect shiny Legendary's :3 The distance you travel in the wormhole just increases the likelihood that a legendary will be in a worm hole or for a rare wormhole that'll always have a legendary in it (provided you haven't caught them yet) so you still need to soft reset for those, which is nice because where would the challenge be and it would ruin shiny legendary's.. ;v; The upside to legendary's in the wormhole is that none of them are shiny locked, I finally got a Shiny Mewtwo after soft resetting for it >w<

Random shiny's on the other hand, I've found 4 of them. I got Stunfisk, Grumpig, Hippowdon and Drapion! :3
It's kinnda interesting that they are 'fixed' the random shiny's to be honest, I mean if you go into a wormhole, save and check to see if it's shiny, reset and reload, it'll still be shiny until you leave the wormhole so people have been able to reset until they get the nature they wanted \^o^/ Obviously this doesn't work on Legendary's, if you knock that shiny legendary out or reset, you'll need to find it again d:
