The arrow pierced through the Aura Sphere, making them both explode
before hitting their marks; the shooting flames and sparks of Aura
energy hit both Lucario and the Aura.
"Worry not," Gallade said. "As I said, you were not expected to
defeat the Master's Aura, let alone on your first try. The Master's
Aura feeds on your own Aura to ensure that it always has more power
than you, which is why it was able to use Ground-, Fire-, and
Fighting-type moves to give itself an advantage, and why it was far
stronger than you from the start. The only way you can defeat it is
with an incredible amount of strategizing, and use of your Aura
Blade, to make those advantages matter not. Put it this way: to
defeat an opponent of a higher level, you have to use a type
advantage or a special strategy; to defeat an opponent with a type
advantage, you have to be a higher level or use a special strategy.
Thus, if you need to defeat a Pokémon with both, you must use a
special strategy."
"Now, I have something to show you before you try again," Gallade
said. "This lesson will teach you how to fight as an Aura, without
your physical form. It is a very difficult tactic to master, but
when you do succeed, you can perform various actions that you would
never have been able to accomplish without it."
Gallade nodded, and picked up a completely white Aura Blade from a
rock nearby. He handed it to Lucario. "This is a Winter Aura Blade.
It will help you to separate your Aura from your body. Now, the
first part..."
(Is it okay if we do a timeskip until the end of the lesson? I'm
not quite sure how to explain it. XD)
