Tiger nodded then looked down to Cyndaquil. The young fire Pokemon
had a scar across his back spots slicing them in half. "There was
an...accident a few years back, and Cyndaquil was fatally injured.
While we managed to heal him he lost the ability to evolve...if he
does, or tries to then he could be hurt...or worse...he could die"
he said sadly, and sighed. "Though I won't give up on Cyndaquil,
and hopefully one day he'll be stronger than most fully evolved
Pokemon"
"Hm... so that's Ho-Oh..." Roy thought aloud. It would be
dangerous to start traveling during these dire circumstances,
but... I do want to prove myself and beat Clair... "Hey, Tiger,
right? You're starting your Pokemon journey?"
"Mind if I travel with you?" Roy asked. "I want to try to solve
this Ho-Oh problem, but unfortunately I know I can't do it alone."
He fed his Dratini some Figy Berries, before stretching out a bit.
Tiger thought for a moment, and looked over to the sky. This
will be easy for him to investigate if he comes with me...once they
find out I have the silver wing I'll be a target...and the
organization that has Ho-Oh already suspects me he thought for
a moment reluctantly. He then nodded "sure you can come along with
me. Who knows it might be easier to figure this mystery out in a
group right?" he said in a simple tone. He was trying his best not
to reveal to much.
Heart, as a zorua slept in a bush. She didn't actually have a
house, being a Pokemon, and a kid and all. She woke up and looked
around, to make sure nobody was there. She turned into her human
form and walked into town. It just seemed like a normal day.
Tiger looked at the Meteorite, and shook his head "No I don't know
anything about that sorry" he said honestly, and looked around. He
then spotted a vaguely familiar girl walking into town. He shook
his head and sighed Of course she's familiar...most people in
this region are familiar... he thought to himself with a sigh.
"Well, anyways, shall we be going?" Roy put the Meteorite back in
his bag, trying not to draw attention to the sword he had in there.
Quickly closing it, he sent out his Caterpie.
"Wait a minute!" Mel shouted, putting her hands on her hips. "Ho-oh
nearly destroyed us today. I'm going with you." She said crossly.
Oshawott crawled onto her shoulder, chirping happily.
"Of course" Tiger said kindly, and nodded. He then looked at
Cyndaquil once more "though I need to go to the lab once
more...Cyndaquil needs healing and Elm has a machine most pokemon
centers use to help hurt pokemon" he said kindly. "After that we
can go to Cherrygrove!" he said trying to sound enthusiastic.
The more trainers with me on the journey the more likely my
secret will be found out... the thought jumped in his head and
he shook it clear once more.
Mel nodded. "Great. By the way, I'm Mel." She added, dropping her
arms by her sides again. She could tell Tiger was hiding something,
but she wasn't sure what.
(Sorry not sorry XD Has to do with what I originally planned for
Tiger when I was still working on him as a character)
"I'm Tiger" Tiger said kindly, and walked into the lab. "Elm? Can
you heal Cyndaquil?" Tiger asked once he walked inside the lab. The
professor walked over, and looked at the small group. He then saw
Heart behind them. "Of course I can." he said kindly. "Would you
help that trainer get her starter?"
"No it's fine" Tiger said kindly, and smiled. "No one here will
harm you. Welcome to the lab by the way! I'm Tiger is there any
pokemon you want to start with" he asked kindly hoping that Heart
wouldn't leave before he could finish his sentence.
half tempted to give Tiger the last name Spruce so he can become
a pokemon professor in the future XD
Tiger blinked, and decided to take a wild guess. "You thought I was
Snow right?" he said suddenly, and smiled. "I get it a lot..." he
sighed, and looked over as Elm walked back into the main room with
Cyndaquil ahead of him.
