Oshawott tugged on Mel's sleeve. "Are you sure we can trust
them? What if it's a trap?" He asked nervously.
Mel blinked at him. They'd been together so long, she'd learned to
guess what he was saying with mostly accurate results. "I'm not
saying I completely trust them. But we don't have a choice, if
we're want to stop Ho-oh. You saw it earlier. We'll figure out more
about the trainers while we go on."
Tiger lead the way to the rooftop not knowing if Heart was still
following him. "Listen, Heart...if I disappear after this battle
I'm sorry." he said lowly.
Mel whipped around, nearly kicking Roy, stopping herself just in
time. "Sorry. Fight mode." She apologized. "And it's nothing.
Oshawott and I were talking."
Heart followed Tiger up to the roof top. She sighs. "Well.. if you
want to leave, it's fine but.. I'm not sure if you would be able to
face Team Rocket alone.."
Tiger sighed "I know I won't be able to take down Rocket
alone...but if I have the silver wing I'm a walking target, and I
don't want to risk Team Rocket hurting one of you" he said quietly,
and walked out to the roof top.
"I said I was sorry!" Mel exclaimed, though she smiled. "I guess."
She looked at Heart and Tiger on the roof. "I'm not the only one
who thinks they're both hiding something, right?"
"Just trust in yourself, and your pokemon, and you'll be fine"
Tiger said softly, and looked at the sky. He then saw the glowing
feathers of Ho-Oh in the distance.
"Glad I'm not the only one, then." Mel breathed, suddenly relieved.
"Maybe they can both speak to Pokémon?" She suggested, though she
doubted it herself. "Or they both speak fluent French or
something."
Noticing the sudden heat, Roy muttered, "Teki ga chikadzuite iru.
Kondo wa tatakau tokidesu." Drawing his sword and sending out his
Pokemon, he managed to get strange looks from passerby.
(Rough Translation: The enemy approaches. Get ready to fight.)
(Apparently, Google Translation: "I am lucky. This time it is time
to fight")
Tiger walked outside, and froze as he noticed the suspicion the two
trainers had toward him, and Heart. Maybe this will be easier to
abandon than I though... he thought sharply. "Ho-Oh is almost
here" he said quietly.
Tiger nodded hollowly, and ran into battle. He looked at Cyndaquil,
and glanced at a place the pokemon could get a good hit on Ho-Oh.
Cyndaquil got into position and as Ho-Oh appeared Cyndaquil used a
swift hitting the legend in the side. "You again!" Ho-Oh
snapped.
"Of course" Tiger snapped angrily, and jumped back as the
legend shot off a sacred fire.
