Elizabeth almost let out a yelp as something furry and soft ran against her shin. Her heart pounded as she jerked her head downward to see... A Delcatty? She blinked down at it, confusion shining in her eyes. She was blank for a moment, mind taking time to register that what rubbed against her leg wasn't a beast. She cooed after the realization, reaching her hand down to stroke the Pokemon. She smiled down at the cat-like Pokemon, her fingertips brushing over its head and back. Petting between its ears and shoulderblades, her touches were light and friendly.

Kyfron and his Gabite both turned around and scoffed, his Gabite glaring at Frost.

PJ's Delcatty leaned into Elizabeth's hand as she was petted, purring. PJ then noticed her feline Pokémon and gently picked her up and held onto her. "Sorry, she likes to get into places she shouldn't be in..." she apologized, Delcatty smiling innocently as she did.

Sakurai slowly got up, wondering what had happened. "Heeelllooo??? Earth to Saku?" Sakurai heard a voice, then turned around seeing his Mimikyu. "Oh. Heya..." "You liar. You said we'd take the subway, not run. We know you're fast, but your stamina is nothing special. Before your first adventure, you got tired easily playing golf. GOLF." "Jeez, don't rub it in... I wasn't the most athletic, okay?!" He stretched a bit, then said, "Alright, let's get to some training before the tournament." "Alright then. Just a practice battle between us?" "Yup. You versus Primarina, and Raichu versus Wigglytuff." He grabbed all of his Poke Balls, then sent them all out. After some instructions, they all began to battle, except his Zorua. His Zorua was newly hatched, and Sakurai wanted him to grow up before gaining battle experience. So, Zorua just stayed near Sakurai and watched the battle intently.

Nick smirked. "Glameow got your tongue?" She smiled. "Or are you just frozen in fear, expecting defeat by my hand?" Banette floated by Elizabeth.


Raichu and Clefable stared, first to Nick and then to Kyfron, nervously awaiting the next incident, as Jess raised an eyebrow.

Elizabeth pulled her hand back sharply as the Pokemon was picked up, looking up to see the owner. Her face flushed a bit and she placed her hands on top of the closed book in her lap. She gave a nervous smile, shaking her head. "Oh, dear, I don't mind! She wasn't a bother at all, trust me." She assured the other, likely older, trainer. She let her small smile widen a bit, expressing a bit more happiness and less jittery nerves. "I'm Elizabeth, it's very nice to meet you...?" She hummed softly, tilting her head upon realizing she hadn't caught the other's name. But she supposed the girl hadn't thrown it either...

[sorry for disappearing, i kinda realized y'all were waiting on me but i've been babysitting for the shmoney]
[also totally didn't mean for Kyfron to be a complete antagonist but it's ok]
Kyfron and his Gabite both turned back once more, chuckling.
"Save your breath, you suck enough as it is." he disparaged, his Gabite crying out after him.
"You just wait until after the tournament when I come for you in the Indigo League." he threatened and made his way towards the other end of the subway train with his Gabite.

PJ looked down at the trainer with a wide grin, now holding her Delcatty in her left hand in order to straighten out and tame her long hair with her right.
"Nice to meet you, Elizabeth. Everyone calls me PJ." she introduced, then proceeding to lay her Delcatty down on top of the book in Elizabeth's lap. "You can keep petting her for a bit then. I could tell she really liked it." she offered.

Nick smirked. "Try me. Then we'll see who'll be doing the talking. Hint: me." She said coolly, staring him down." Her Banette started to float towards him dauntingly, before she recalled it.

Jess raised an eyebrow, calling her scared Clefable back. "God, that sucked." She said quietly, shifting in her seat.

Kyfron shook his head and he continued to walk away, deeming Nick's retaliation not to be worth any extra time.

Aditsan looked up at Nick and over at Jess as she spoke. "I'm so confused..." he admitted.

Elizabeth smiled, beginning to pet the feline Pokemon in her lap. "Ah, thanks! I just love petting these beauties." She said, her voice soft as she continued her kind stroking. "Well! What are you heading to Kanto for, dear?" She asked kindly, and her Vaporeon stirred beside her. The groggy Pokemon stretched glancing at the Delcatty and PJ with tired eyes.

PJ smiled at Elizabeth as she stroked her Delcatty. "Oh, I'm here with my cousin for this tournament thing..." she began explaining. "You?" she questioned, taking a seat next to her Vaporeon, quickly rummaging through her bag and pulling out an Oran Berry for it to eat.

Aditsan looked up at Amara, Jess and Nick and noticed the shift of demeanor in her. "What's the matter?" he asked.

Elizabeth smiled softly, though a little bit of nervousness slipped into the smile. "Oh! In here for that as well, actually. I'm just here with my Pokemon, though." She hummed, still petting the Delcatty with generous care and love. She gave her Vaporeon a little smile, and the Pokemon stared at the other in her trainer's lap. She let out a little noise, and leaned forward to sniff the other Pokemon. "Honey, you might be invading her space-" She said in a soft tone, her face flushing because of how stupid the statement sounded.

Nick, either not hearing or ignoring Aditsan, and cracked her knuckles angrily, then pulled out a notepad and started angrily scribbling.

Jess shrugged at Aditsan, and smiled at Elizabeth. "Cute Vaporeon. They're useful, too."

Melody walked through Pallet Town with her nose buried in a book.Sparky, her shiny Plusle, was ahead of her trying to catch butterflies that landed on his nose.Melody looked over her book and shook her head before going back to her reading.Due to her being focused on her book she didn't see the bag that was placed behind someone's chair as she passed a local cafe.She let out a squeak as she tripped over one of the bag's straps and landed on the ground.The book she had been reading flew into the air and landed on Sparky, terrifying him.As a result, he used thunder and pretty much fried the book before blinking and looking back at his trainer.

"Plu plusle plu."He states before bounding over to Melody and flopping onto her head.Melody groaned before using her hands to pick up Sparky.

"You f..fried my b..book didn't y..you?"She stutters out while looking at him.

"Plu."Sparky responds sweetly while tilting his head causing her to sigh.She gets up and brushes off her dress before continuing her trip home.

Aditsan silently waited for a response, then turn away as he was ignored with a mumbled "Okay, whatever..."

PJ's Delcatty looked up at Elizabeth and then at her Vaporeon, giving a soft cry. She flicked her tail before standing up and stretching before proceeding to prance back to her Trainer.
"Well, we'll hopefully be there soon and we can see if our Pokemon are more than just cute lookers." PJ winked.

Kyfron sat away from the rest of the group. "Maybe I was little too ..... extra." he admitted to his Gabite after getting stuck on the word that best fit into his sentence.
"Ga-Gabite." the Dragon-type responded with a shrug.
"But then again ... I do kind of need a rival or something along that line." he continued, releasing his Leafeon and Lopunny to stretch.
Gabite and Leafeon proceeded to play fight whilst Kyfron polished the Mega Stone attached to a large, pink bow on the top of his Lopunny's head. "You ready to blow these fools away?" he asked her, the Normal-type crying in response.

The subway lurched to the halt as Nick stood, staying balanced although there was a sudden stop. Her Banette floated beside her as she stood by the door, yawning softly as it opened, revealing a torrential thunderstorm. Nick frowned slightly before putting the hood of her shirt on and stepping out onto the platform.

Jess sent her two partners out before exiting the subway. "Nice rain. I like it the best." She said, a small spring in her step before she twirled slightly in place, almost losing her balance before standing.
