PJ waved back and gave a short smile, watching the Banette approach. Delcatty, sensing something near it, perked both of her ears up and began swishing her tail more before opening one eye. She noticed the Banette near her and gave a short meow.

"That's cool. I'm from Kalos but I've spent a lot of time in Alola. Raichu aren't very common to come across. Are the ones in Alola Electric & Water types?" Aditsan asked, assuming so as the trainer explained their tails were used for surfing. Aditsan then looked up at the trainer who'd taken a seat across from him and awkwardly smiled before turning his attention to his Delphox's Pokéball.

Amara looked at the trainer "From what my brother has told me, they are Electric and Psychic types." She said "I've never been to alola before. What's it like?" She asked.

After a long, tiring run through Victory Road, Sakurai finally made it to the Pokemon League... but then collapsed from all the running. Poor kid didn't know about the subway...

"They're electric and psychic. They levitate on their tails. I have one in my PC, I can take it out later." Jess smiled and offered, as Raichu scurried back to Jess and crawled onto her shoulder. "I'm Jesse. Or Jess. Nice to meet you." She waved.

Banette gave a ghostly whisper as it reached a hand out but couldn't touch the Delcatty. "Banette, come back, that's a normal type." Nick said, as Banette floated back to her.

Aditsan smiled at both of the trainers talking to him. "My name's Aditsan, this is my cousin, PJ." he introduced, then looking over at PJ who'd been smiling a bit.

PJ's Delcatty lifted her head off of PJ's lap when the Ghost-type retreated and let a short meow escape from her mouth. PJ smiled at her Delcatty as she pet it and looked over at the trainer with the Banette. "My name's PJ and this is Delcatty."

Nick grinned. "I'm Nicole. Nick. That's my Banette." She pointed to the Banette next to her. "I'm current Kanto champion." Nick introduced herself.

"Nice to meet you. That's my Raichu and Clefable. I keep them out of the Pokeballs because they won't stay in them." Jess shrugged. "But I'm a capture expert. I was working on completeing the Pokedex for Oak."

"I'm Amara, and this is frost, my partner." she said "Nice to meet you both." she said with a small smile. Frost cocked her head at the Raichu on jess's shoulder.

Elizabeth had done a lot of things that morning, all in a rushed sense. She had gotten dressed, wearing a blue crop top and black skinny jeans. She had brushed her hair and teeth, and pulled her hair up in a messy bun. She had grabbed a piece of bread and slathered some butter one it, basically inhaling it so she wouldn't be late. She had grabbed her bag, and called her Vaporeon downstairs. Her Vaporeon she usually called Vavara, had padded down the stairs and up to Elizabeth, seeming to smile up at her. Elizabeth had given a rushed smile, and they had rushed to the subway station. They had barely gotten on in time, sitting in an empty row.

Now the two sat together, Vavara curled up in the empty seat beside Elizabeth. Vavara was putting in her sleep, tail flicking and swishing every now and then. Elizabeth was reading a book, her fingers carefully gripping the thin pages. Her bright blue eyes scanned the printed ink that lay on the paper, her lips pulled in a smile. Everything that had been on these papers had been happy so far, and she was positive that it was going to be a good book.

PJ exclaimed as a lightbulb lit up. "I knew I recognized you from somewhere." PJ admitted. "I got to the finals of the Grand Festival in Hoenn but I lost to a Performer in Kalos named Serena..."[animereferences] "What's the Region Champion doing on the Vermillion Subway?" she asked as her Delcatty, deeming the setting too chatty for a nap, got up and pranced off.

PJ's Delcatty pranced next to Elizabeth and her Vaporeon, her tail trailing against Elizabeth's leg as she did so. She turned her head back and looked up at the trainer and quietly meowed.

Aditsan smiled at the two, not really knowing what to say. He rolled his thumb against his Delphox's Pokeball, which had started shaking. "Wanna come out, girl?" he asked through the Pokeball and released the Fox Pokemon, who cried out its name as it stretched with its wand lighting up in her paw.

Nick shrugged. "I'm supposed to go to some tournament." She said. "And what, am I not allowed on the subway? I'm probably your age, anyway." She laughed. Her Banette floated around on the train,

"Nice Delphox. Those can be great pokemon for battling if you can train 'em." Jess smiled. "Especially with Future Sight. That's a deadly move."

Jess nodded. "Mystical fire wows the judges, apparently. I'm not one for battling or contests, I'm a capture expert." She smiled, somewhat proudly.

Aditsan smiled at Jess & Amara, prompting his Delphox to cry out in pride. "Delphox here is a pretty seasoned battler and we're trying to get into Contests as well. She really likes to perform even when she was a Fennekin and I just got her from the Professor but I shaped her into a battler." he rambled. "I'm participating in this tournament thing so if you two are watching or something you'll probably see both moves as they're some of our favorites."

PJ sat up straighter when Nick announced she was participating in a tournament. "You're in the tournament too?" she asked. 'That doesn't seem fair at all... going against the Champion in this thing would like getting in a fist fight with no hands...' she thought.

A tall trainer emerged from his seat and walked over to where PJ and Nick had been talking. "If I beat you in the tournament does that make me the new Kanto Champion?" the trainer asked, his Gabite beside him crying out after him.

PJ's Delcatty noticed Nick's Banette wandering about and stealthily tiptoed over towards it.

Amara smiled at Aditsan but it quickly disappeared when she heard the trainer speak. She looked over at him "I don't think it works like that." She said giving an awkward smile. Frost let out a cry in agreement.

"I'm sorry... Was I talking to you?" the trainer asked rudely before turning back to Nick. "Well, Nicole?"

Aditsan looked up from his seat and ignored the trainer's apparent rudeness and studied his looks more whereas PJ simply sat back and listened.

The trainer scoffed and smirked at Amara, though ignored her question. "If I can beat you, then beating the Elite Four should be a piece of cake. And I'm really good at cutting cake so I'd be careful if I were you." he threatened, glaring down at Nick's Banette, who was joined alongside PJ's Delcatty. "The name's Kyfron; better watch out." he introduced to Nick and indirectly the rest of the trainers around. He passed the Champion, his Gabite following close behind.

"Okay then..." PJ mumbled to herself.
"So where even is this tournament being held?" Aditsan asked whilst tightening the bow on his Delphox's wand.

"Why that little-" Amara stopped herself before she snapped. Frost was about to use ice beam on Kytron's Gabite but stopped when Amara put a hand on (frost) her head.

Jesse raised her eyebrows. "What a looser, hope you beat him."
