After returning to the audience, Mila, Kyfron and the cousins watched silently as the spotlight took focus on center stage.

The Seviper at the side of James began trying to use Sludge wave as chaos ensued. People scrambled for the exit.
Nick charged into the field, sending out her full team. "Everyone! Use the strategy!"

Mila ran to the stage, sending out her Staryu, Vaporeon, and Cloyster, commanding them all to use Swift. She then followed up by sending out Misty's Corsola and Gyarados she was given for the tournament, as well as her own Lapras.
Aditsan and PJ battled with their partner, Delphox and Delcatty respectively, Delphox attacking multiple grunt's Pokemon with Mystical Fire, Delcatty attacking with Blizzard.

"The control room!" Nick yelled, sprinting to said room with her team following. Quickly, she replaced Drifblim and Tyranitar with the more practical for battling-an-evil-team Galvantula and Crabominable, the pair following the rest of her team as she slammed the door open, ducking but being grazed by a Houndoom's flamethrower. Yelping in pain and surprise, Nick commanded Galvantula to use Electroweb on the computer systems to block them from damage, but the electricity reacted, causing a loud explosion to be heard.
"What was that?!" Jess yelled, concerned as she kicked an approaching grunt.

Aditsan, PJ and Mila all flinched and gasped as the explosion happened, looking in the general direction of it. Aditsan and PJ decided to continue to fend off some of the grunts, whereas Mila went to investigate with her Staryu.

Jess briefly stared at the newcomer, than snapped out of it. "Raichu! Electro ball on the Seviper! Clefable, use Moonblast!" She commanded.
Nick nodded, her face was bleeding a little from multiple cuts. Shaking herself out of his grasp, she turned to her team-- but noticed the Masked man had fled, leaving a few grunts behind. Nick sighed angrily.

Kyfron looked into Nick's eyes, noticing the cuts. "Are you sure?" he asked for reassurance, wiping a small bit of blood seeping out of a wound.
Mila arrived at that moment, noticing the two were having some sort of a moment.
"Don't worry about the Grunts, you two. Staryu, Surf!" she called, Staryu washing away the remaining members a single wave.

As Jess's Nidoking used Ice Beam on a few Pokemon, the grunts finally abandoned their posts, leaving the stadium filled only with scared people and the trainers.
Nick grinned. "I'll be fine, really. And thanks, kiddo!" Nick smiled as Mila walked in. She brushed her hair back, not realizing she accidently revealed a gash, and tried walking out. Nick stumbled, catching herself before she fell.

Mila smiled at Nick, realizing she had some sort of thing going on with Kyfron, she silently slipped away and back to the center of the battlefield.
Kyfron noticed the gash on Nick’s head and her stumbling, and simply repeated the word “No.” over and over again. “You’re not okay...” he mumbled, attempting to held hold her up and wrap her arm around his shoulders to help her walk. “Don’t ever lie to me again, or at least don’t make a habit out of it...”

Nick shook her head. "I'm... okay..." She said softly, before her head dropped as she let herself slip into unconsciousness, her Banette worriedly prodding her head.

Kyfron quickly became uncoordinated as Nick passed out, sending out his Gabite to help keep her body upright. Eventually he was able to carry her body to the Pokémon Center and Nurse Joy gave her treatment as quickly as possible. [idk if that’s how it works]

The boy turned to PJ. "Here, miss, have them drink this." He said, handing her a glass of milk, as his Gogoat was using Milk Drink.
Jess grinned. "That helps."

“Everything okay?” he asked, then turning to the unfamiliar boy.
“Yeah everything’s fine thanks to...... Now that I think of it... I didn’t quite catch your name...” PJ admitted.
Kyfron patiently waited for Nick’s recovery, dozing off in the lobby

Nick woke up with a large bandage wrapped around her face. She gagged as she stood up, definitely feeling the effects of the explosion in her sore muscles as she yawned.

“—Aditsan, it’s a pleasure.” he greeted, shaking Ethan’s hand firmly.
Kyfron laid across some seats in the lobby, sound asleep with his Gabite sitting on the ground beside him.

"Jess. Pleasure." Jess gave a friendly wave. "There's also Sakurai, and Nick and Kyfron... speaking of, where are they?"
Nick walked into the lobby, laughing at Kyfron as she quietly exited, sitting outside.
