Feathercloud dipped her head in amusement. "Sure, I'll keep an ear out for the fur brain. He's probably off with Hawkpool somewhere." She said lowly and snickered, shaking herself slightly. She sat down and licked her paw, waiting for Mudfeather to finish eating.

Mudfeather quickly scarfed down a mouse in case Feathercloud was in a rush to leave. She then went over to the patrol, and licked her jaws. "I'm ready to go" she meowed respectfully and looked over to Fallentree.

Feathercloud dipped her head, slightly amused. "You didn't have to inhale that mouse." She meowed lightly, whiskers twitching slightly. She looked towards Fallentree. "Where should we start?" She asked, standing up.

"I didn't want to leave you waiting" Mudfeather meowed gently.

"We could try near the old camp" Fallentree suggested. "No one has been over there for a bit" he said softly, and looked around.

"Sounds like a plan." Feathercloud meowed, stretching. "I haven't seen the camp since we left it. I wonder what it looks like.." She shook herself. "Should we get going?" She asked, flicking her ears back a bit.

Dawnpelt flicked an ear in annoyance, feeling that her brother should know better. " If you see him, clot him behind the ear and tell him to come back to camp, " she mewed. She nodded in thanks to Fallentree, trusting him to lead the hunting patrol.

Sunkit took the cobweb in her mouth and paws and her best to wrap Ashpelt's wound on his flank. " That's harder than it looks, " she said, slightly dismayed at her work.

Duskwind shrugged, " I suppose we should start heading back. " he meowed, seeming to just notice how late in the day it was becoming. " But, we could walk slowly, " he mewed.

"I'll drag him back to camp with the rest of the fresh kill. Though he'll be alive" Fallentree meowed jokingly and walked out of camp.

"No that looks great" Tigerstripe purred warmly, and sniffed the cobweb to check if it was on right. She nodded in approval as it stayed on Ashpelt's fur as the warrior slept.

Hawkpool nodded and got to her paws. "Let's hope your sister won't want to kill you" she purred warmly and nudged the warrior playfully.

Feathercloud rolled her eyes but nodded anyway. "We'll drag him back whether he likes it or not." She said cheerfully before bounding out of the camp after Fallentree. She tasted the air excitedly. She'd spent all day and night at the camp wall, so it was a nice break to get out of the camp for a bit.

Sunkit's expression brightened slightly, and she got to her paws. " I hope he'll be better soon, " she mewed, looking at her father while he slept.

Duskwind laughed, " Oh she will. But, I think she always does? It's a kin thing, I think," he meowed, starting to walk away from the cave camp. He shook his paws slightly as he walked, ridding them of the river water. He hadn't intended to skirt his duties this long, but the time had flown quickly. Ah well, at least there's lots of warriors to help out, Duskwind assured himself.

Fallentree padded through the territory and parted his jaws. He caught the scent of a rabbit, and flicked his tail in the direction of the rabbit.

Tigerstripe followed Sunkit out. "Ashpelt will be back to his old self by the half moon" she meowed gently, and smiled.

Hawkpool nodded and followed Duskwind. "I'm sure it'll all be fine" she meowed gently.

Feathercloud tasted the air and turned her head in the direction of the rabbit with a small nod, crouching low to the ground to avoid making too much noise. Considering it was Fallentree's find, she guessed he would try and catch it.

Sunkit smiled and looked up at Tigerstripe, her tail high, “ I know you’ll make him better, “ she said, heading into the nursery. She was excited to tell Bramblekit all about her day.

Duskwind laughed a beat as he lead the way through the desert. He passed by a tumbleweed, brushing it lightly with his tail. “ I like your positive attitude,” he meowed.

Bramblekit looked up from his ball of moss and looked at Sunkit. "Hey Sunkit! I saved you some honey" he meowed gently as bounded over to his sister.

Fallentree slowly crept up to the rabbit he then stepped on a twig ad scared the rabbit towards Feathercloud.

"Thanks" Hawkpool purred and ran up to Duskwind. She then brushed his flank when she caught up to him.

Feathercloud let out a small "oh" and darted forward, leaping for the rabbit. She bit down on it and skidded to a stop, dropping it onto the ground. "Nice." She meowed kindly, flicking her tail.

“ Oh!,” Sunkit purred. She had forgotten about the honeycomb that Tigerstripe brought for them earlier. “ Thank you, Bramblekit,” She mewed as she ate her portion of the sweet treat. “ I got to help make Ashpelt get all better,” she said, proudly, after finishing the honey.

Duskwind purred as Hawkpool came close to him, twisting his tail into hers. “ I’ll be sad to see you go back up the mountain. It’s nice spending the day with you,” he mewed as they walked through the desert.

"That's awesome!" Bramblekit purred and took the oak leaf away. He then sat down near the entrance of the nursery. "How did it go?" He asked kindly.

Hawkpool nodded, and purred. "I had fun today to, but what will we do when I have to go home" she mewled sadly at the thought of leaving Duskwind.

"Nice catch!" Fallentree purred and went over to Feathercloud. "Looks plump enough to feed Flowerheart and the kits" he added with a nod to the rabbit.

Sunkit licked her paw and cleaned the bits of honey from her muzzle. " I think it went alright, Tigerstripe had me put new cobwebs on Ashpelt, and I didn't even make a mistake, " she mewed, enjoying recounting the memory in her mind. " Perhaps tomorrow, Ashpelt will be well enough to come to us for a visit, "

Duskwind sighed, changing his course slightly to walk around a large rock. " We don't have to think about that just yet...you'll be here a few days, right?, " he meowed, his eyes looking hopeful. " After that...well, I always enjoyed our nocturnal meetings, " he smiled at the thought.

Dawnpelt had sent out another patrol and walking around the camp, inspecting the new repairs that had been done. Nursery reinforced, walls by the apprentice den repaired..., she listed in her mind. What else could we do?, she sat down in the center of the camp, thinking, her tail tapping lightly. She tried to imagine what it was like to see the rogue cats coming through the walls and shuddered slightly. Maybe we should secure a way to escape as well..., she thought as she mulled the idea over in her mind.

Bramblekit purred and looked towards the medicine den. It was barely visible from the nursery. "Perhaps. It's be great to see him out of the medicine den" he meowed in agreement. "I'm glad you had fun with Tigerstripe" he said warmly.

Tigerstripe yawned and went towards the medicine den when she saw Dawnpelt. "Hello, Dawnpelt. Something wrong?" She asked concerned for the deputy. She noticed the deputy shutter when she walked past.

Hawkpool nodded and purred "I enjoy out meetings too" she mewled in agreement.

Feathercloud let out a short purr, digging a hole and burying the rabbit. "We're a good team." She meowed with a grin, sniffing the air. "Oh. Dawnpelt said we should grab Duskwind and send him back if we see him." She said, glancing around.

Sunkit smiled, settling down in the moss. " Did you get up to any fun while I was gone?." she asked, wondering about her brother's well being.

Dawnpelt glanced at Tigerstripe, " No, just the usual worrisome and brooding thoughts, " she said, giving a small smile. " I was thinking about the rogues, and what more we could do in defense against them, " Dawnpelt meowed, confiding in the medicine cat. Perhaps Tigerstripe would have suggestions for me..., she thought.

Duskwind smiled, " See then? Everything will be fine." Duskwind walked close to Hawkpool as then began to get closer to the forest. The ground had become slightly softer and more vegetation was appearing around them, although much of the greenery had since disappeared since leaf fall.
