DesertClan (Roleplay)
Forum-Index → Roleplay → DesertClan (Roleplay)The rogues hissed, and Mudfeather looked at Dawnpelt. "Ashpelt ran after Sandfeather. She had Bramblekit!" She meowed quickly, and pulled a rogue out of the hole in the wall. The rogues in camp were quickly fleeing through the tunnel.
Ashpelt hissed, and backed up. He placed Bramblekit on the ground. "Go get help, there's a way out of here through the scrap bin, but I'm to big to fit. I don't care who you ask for help, just make sure ite PineClan, or DesertClan" he meowed quickly, and shoved the kit to the scrap bin. Bramblekit nodded, and darted from the alley with two rogues on his tail. He mewled in shock as he ran.
Once Bramblekit was gone, Ashpelt unsheathed his claws, and reared up on his hind legs he then batted at the closest rogue. "I'm not going down without a fight!" He spat at Sandfeather crossly.
Dawnpelt's eyes widened in shock as she was pulled from her rage trance. She suddenly remembered she saw Ashpelt running from the camp in the direction of the twoleg place, but she was too focused on getting back to camp to put much thought to it. She dashed towards the entrance of the camp, running by Flamestar as he entered. " Sandfeather took my kit! I'm going after her, " she meowed as she rushed through the camp entrance and towards the twoleg place.
Duskwind swatted and hissed at the fleeing rogues as the fled from the camp. He heard his sister's cries as she darted into the trees, and did his best to follow as well.
Icestar then narrowed her eyes at the bramble tunnel "Hawkpool go with Dawnpelt. Help her out, Stoneleaf, help Greenbush." she meowed quickly.
Ashpelt hissed as he was knocked to the ground, the rogues had taken a lot of damage from him, but he managed to send some of the rogues runnin away. He then stumbled back as the scar from an old hawk attack, reopened and began to bleed again. The warrior hissed, and shook his head to clear it. If I fall now I might join StarClan. I'm not ready to join them he thought to himself and hissed. He then jumped back clumsily and dodged a slash to his throat but was hit in the flank by another set of claws. I still want to see my kits grow up! I need to know if Bramblekit is safe he thought sharply, and closed his eyes. He then growled, and felt his adrenaline kick in.
Bramblekit ran through the forest. He was partially lost, and very scared. The kit heard the pawsteps of the rogues behind him their pawsteps getting closer as he ran towards the scent of a cat. He wasn't sure who it was, but it smelled a lot like DesertClan. "Help!" He yowled pitifully.
Greenbush nodded in panic and ran towards the nursery, pausing only to drag Feathercloud out from underneath a rogue. He shook himself before diving into the den and peering around. "Is anyone hurt?" He meowed, sniffing the air. He'd heard Ashpelt run out of the camp looking for Bramblekit.
Dawnwind dashed towards the twoleg place, saying a silent prayer to Starclan that she was not too late. She skidded to a halt as her ears picked up the sound of her kit in distress. " Bramblekit!, " She meowed, and ran towards the mewls. She spotted his small shape up ahead, and the rogue cats in pursuit behind him. She yowled, leaping over Bramblekit and directly into the leading rogue cat, tackling him into the dirt, claws ripping fur.
Ashpelt panted and sent a prayer of thanks to StarClan. He had one eye closed as blood was falling into it, and part of his ear was torn to shreds. He then bit the tail of a rogue sending it runnin out of the clearing near Hawkpool. The PineClan warrior then grabbed the rogue's scruff and threw him into the nearby Thunderpath. "We're outnumbered!" A rogue yowled. Sandfeather then hissed, and replied in a low growl "keep fighting! We can at least take down one warrior" she hissed, and glared at Ashpelt.
Blood speckled Dawnpelt's vision as the rogue slashed at her face. She felt no pain, however, and dashed around the rogue to knock his back legs out from under him. She leapt onto the rogue while he was on his back, pinning him with her claws.
Duskwind ran to Ashpelt's side, hissing angrily at Sandfeather, " Back off, " he growled, lashing his tail wildly.
"Bramblekit! Where is he!" He demanded between panting and shaking his head clear.
Bramblekit mewled weakly as the rogue that Dawnpelt was fighting heard Sandfeather's yowl to flee. He then ran away from Dawnpelt, his wounds bleeding as he ran away.
(XD Thunderpath was the first warrior word I memorized. I call most streets thunderpaths irl)
Duskwind hissed as Sandfeather and her rogues turned tail. He turned to face Ashpelt, nudging him gently with his nose. " He's okay, I think Dawnpelt went to him, " he said. He looked for Hawkpool in the alleyway, wanting to make sure she was alright.
Ashpelt nodded, and sat down suddenly. "Alright" he said in a low whispered, he was relieved that Bramblekit was safe. He was still struggling to stay awake as exhaustion crept into his limbs.
Hawkpool was scratched but unhurt "are you alright?" She asked Duskwind gently, and looked at his pelt from where she stood.
Duskwind shook his fur, clearing his head from the fog of fighting. " I think im ok, just some lost tufts of hair..." he looked at Ashpelt, who was much worse for wear. " We need to get him to camp, " he mewed, looking back at Hawkpool.
Hawkpool nodded, and went over to the injured warrior. "I'll help you get him back home" she meowed gently, and looked at Duskwind.
Duskwind sniffed at Ashpelt's sounds, doing his best to clean the worst ones. " Come on Ashpelt, Tigerstripe will fix you up, " he mewed. With a thankful look at Hawkpool, he helped Ashpelt to his feet, supporting one side.
"We'll get him back to camp, but first we need to stop the bleeding" she meowed evenly. "Duskwind please get cobwebs, Hawkpool keep him on his paws. I don't want him to fall to the ground now he might get those wounds in worse condition. Duskwind after you get the cobwebs and bring them to me run to camp, and tell Dawnpelt that Ashpelt will survive. He'll just need some treatment in the medicine den for a few days, and some fresh kill" she meowed gently and cleaned a few of Ashpelt's wounds.
Bramblekit looked at Dawnpelt in concern. He was still bristling from the events, Flamestar then ran over to the deputy.
Dawnpelt looked up at her leader, standing up a little straighter, her eyes clearing up ever so slightly. " The rogues all ran," she said. " Ashpelt held off many on his own. I think Tigerstripe went to where they fought, though I'm not sure about...", she hesitated before mentioning Ashpelt, worried about what his state may be. She purred softly to Bramblekit as she spoke.
Ashpelt sighed in slight relief. He closed his eyes thinking of Dawnpelt, and his kits once more. Thank you StarClan for sparing me...I don't want to leave Dawnpelt or my kits not yet. He thought to himself. He then felt Hawkpool nudge him gently.
"Hey don't fall asleep yet. Save that for when you get home" Hawkpool meowed gently and shook Ashpelt gently. "Your kits will want you awake when you get home" she mewled gently.
Flamestar nodded, and looked at Bramblekit. "Alright get him to the nursery, I'll tell you of we hear anything from Ashpelt" he meowed gently. Bramblekit looked at his paws as he thought of his dad, he drew his ears back in concern.
Duskwind watched Tigerstripe at her work for a moment before padding back into the woods. He quickened his pace, his paws scuffing the dry leaves on the forest floor. Soon, he could see he bramble tunnel before him, and dashed through.
