Hawkpool nodded, and glanced over her shoulder to make sure the others were following. Ashpelt ran up to catch up to Dawnpelt. "In green leaf twolegs come here often, but later on in the day closer to sun high. We usually add patrols for the twolegs, and they usually don't stray close to camp."
Dawnpelt nodded as she continued forward, swishing her tail over Ashwind's side as he approached. " That's good, twolegs are such a nuisance. It's as if they think they own the world," she commented.
Ashpelt purred at Dawnpelt, and looked st Hawkpool. "The twolegs aren't to bad. Though they often scare the prey around here..." she said lowly. "But so long as those fox hearts stay on the path I'll be happy" she meowed. She then pricked her ears as a few twolegs began walking towards them.
Duskwind followed his sister's direction, stepping off the path and into the trees.
Once they were gone, Ashpelt walked out of the grass and hissed. "Those twolegs would scare prey from here to turtle rock" he hissed crossly.
Duskwind's ears flicked at hearing his sister's words. He was sad to be departing from Hawkpool already, but figured it couldn't be helped.
Ashpelt followed the path towards the tall rock. He glanced over to Tigerstripe, who was continuing onwards.
Duskwind lingered behind the others for a moment, watching Hawkpool run back into the Pine forest. How far away is the next gathering...?, he wondered as he gazed. He then realized he was far behind the others, and quickly padded down the path to catch up.
Duskwind was not hungry for the first time ever, but he figured he should take the time to hunt when he could. He bounded off into the bushes, following the scent of rabbit.
Ashpelt narrowed his eyes as he saw the mouse. He then crouched down, and slowly crept to it. Just as he was about to catch it, a hawk flew down from the trees, a bit smaller than the ones in the mountains. It then grabbed the mouse, and was about to fly away when Ashpelt tackled it catching it off guard. The hawk then screeched and tried to fly off unbalancing Ashpelt, and throwing feathers in the air.
