Tigerpaw nodded, and looked around "I hope he's alright..." she muttered lowly. She then looked up as an elderly cat walked into the den. His gray and orange fur slightly dulled by a restless sleep. "Oh hello Stormflame" Tigerpaw meowed cheerfully.

Greenbush peered over at Stormflame. "Hello Stormflame." He greeted brightly. "Is something wrong? Do you need something?" He asked, now worried.

Stormflame shook his head, and yawned. "No I just need something for stiff bones. Lilypaw was going to bring me some, but she hasn't shown up after cleaning the dirty moss from the den" he said softly. Tigerpaw looked at the elder, and blinked, he looked like he was slightly in pain from walking to the medicine cats den.

Greenbush frowned slightly. "I'm not sure there is anything for stiff bones." He admitted. "I can check, but the best thing might be poppy seeds, if you want to sleep." He shrugged helplessly. "Are there any other pains?"

Stormflame shook his head "no other than my joints, and a few stomach pains I'm fine" he said kindly. Tigerpaw looked at the elder and narrowed her eyes slightly. Has he been eating? she thought sharply, but shook it away.

Dirtkit looked around the nest she would miss so dearly. Tonight's the night. This would be her last nap with her mother. Ever. She over stressed the situation, and ended up not getting a wink of sleep, only dozing off a couple of times. She was so nervous!

(I'm really sorry and don't mean to be rude or anything at all, but I haven't been able to say a lot cuz my are just kits, and I feel like this one day is going on forever. we dont have to, but could we speed up to the time they become aprentices?)

All day Smallkit played, nervousness creeping in her brain.

Greenbush nodded kindly. "If you'd like, I can give you a few Juniper berries. They can help with stomachaches." He offered, swishing his tail across the dens floor. He glanced at Tigerpaw and then back at the elder.

(I was planning on having the ceremony after Greenbush, and Stormflame talk. Please be patient)

Tigerpaw went to the back of the cave, and grabbed some juniper berries for the medicine cat. Placing them on the ground, she looked at Greenbush. "These are the right berries right? I uh didn't want to grab the wrong ones, but I wanted to help" she asked softly.

Hey can Greenbush become Tigerpaw's mentor?

Greenbush peered at the berries and then looked up at Tigerpaw. "Yeah, those are the right berries!" He purred. "Not many cats would grab the right ones. Good job." He looked at her curiously. "You have a good memory." He meowed. "Good enough to be a medicine cat." He hesitated. "Would you like to become my apprentice? You clearly have a good memory and mindset." He said quietly.

Yeah, that's fine!

"R-really" Tigerpaw meowed in shock, and looked at Greenbush. "I'd be honored to be a medicine cat" she purred, and sat down respectfully. Stormflame purred kindly, and looked over to Greenbush. He padded over to the berries.

Greenbush let out a short purr. "Welcome to the life of a medicine cat." He meowed, and then looked at her seriously. "You understand that if you become a medicine cat, you won't be able to take a mate or have kits, right?" He asked her cautiously. He looked at Stormflame. "Just take two or three. Either is fine."

Tigerpaw nodded "I understand" she meowed softly, and dipped her head. She glanced at Stormflame to make sure the elder ate the berries.

"I'm sure Tigerpaw will be great. She has a lot of compassion for the clan" Stormflame meowed gently, and ate the berries.

Greenbush tilted his head slightly. "I'm sure she'll do great." He agreed warmly. He watched as Stormflame ate the berries and nodded in satisfaction. "If anything else hurts, feel free to come back and ask for a few more berries." He offered, flicking his tail slightly.

Stormflame nodded, and got back to his paws. He limped out of the den, and looked up toward the TallBoulder. "If Tigerpaw is becoming your apprentice you might need to hurry up...Flamestar looks like he's about to call a meeting" he meowed softly, and went back to the elder's den.

(There was a coyote fight. Tigerpaw is going to become Greenbush's apprentice, and Flamestar is about to call a meeting in order to make mentors to the [over whelming amount of] apprentices)

Greenbush yelped, dashing out of the medicine cat den. He approached the TallBoulder and dipped his head respectfully to Flamestar. He tipped his head back slightly, looking up at Flamestar. "Flamestar," He meowed. "Could I speak with you for a moment?"

Breezetail entered the camp, dragging a vole and depositing it in the fresh kill pile. She turned her head, ears twitching as she sat down and licked her paw.

Flamestar looked up, and tilted his head he had a slightly alarmed look in his eyes. "Is something wrong Greenbush" he meowed quickly. Tigerpaw ran over, and stopped behind Greenbush silently. She glanced at her father slightly nervous.
