Tigerpaw nodded slightly, and looked to the camp exit. She then went over to Robinkit, and pressed her paw gently against his flank. She sighed in relief as heard him groan softly.

Greenbush let out a short purr. "He should be alright as long as he rests." He meowed, looking at the kit. His eyes darkened slightly. "It makes me wonder why anyone would do that to a kit?" He sighed and shook his head.

Tigerpaw flicked an ear "good question....maybe he remembers who fed them to him? We could ask when he wakes" she said gently.

Tigerpaw nodded in agreement, and sighed. She sat down next to the kit, and glanced at the ceiling of the cave.

Greenbush returned to flitting nervously between piles of herbs, sorting them and tucking them away. He occasionally looked up and out of the cave, peering around.

A bolt of lightning struck just outside the camp's cave creating a very loud clash of thunder that echoed through the cave.

Greenbush winced, pausing mid-scoop to peek outside. Thunder and lightning never brought along any good omens, as far as he was concerned.

Breezetail covered her head with her paws.

Tigerpaw growled, and walked out of the medicine den. She glanced around the camp, and narrowed her eyes. Though the storm was bad, there were hints in the air that it wouldn't last long. Tigerpaw sighed, and went back toward the den when she heard a hiss coming from the nursery.

Greenbush's ears pricked up and he darted out of the medicine cat den and into the nursery. He'd heard a hiss.

Tigerpaw followed, and ran into the nursery inside was a queen -Featherstone- sitting by a kit. The small kit was shivering and was huddled in pain.

Greenbush entered the den as well, looking around carefully before looking at Featherstone. "Are you two alright?" He asked in concern, looking at the kit.

"I'm fine" Featherstone meowed shakily, and looked at the kit. "A thorn bush was blown into the nursery, and hit Firekit" she mewled, and glanced at a badly damaged thorn bush.

Greenbush nodded and shivered. "How bad is the wind..?" He murmured before looking at the kit. "Is he bleeding?" He asked the queen gently.

Featherstone sniffed the kit, and there was a cut on her flank. It wasn't deep enough to kill the young cat, but it was deep enough to hurt the kit, and make her pass out.

Greenbush winced at the sight of the cut. "We'll need cobwebs." He meowed carefully. "And some marigold." He added, ducking out of the nursery and darting into the medicine cat den, lifting said items with his paw and limping back into the nursery.

Tigerpaw looked over to Greenbush, and watched her mentor as he went to help the kit. Firekit was whimpering slightly in pain. "Greenbush should I grab half a poppy seed?"

Greenbush dipped his head towards Tigerpaw and looked at Firekit carefully, carefully chewing up the marigold leaves a bit before carefully spreading it across the cut and placing several cobwebs over the cut with steady paws.
