DesertClan (Roleplay)
Forum-Index → Roleplay → DesertClan (Roleplay)Duskwind was still staring at the mountain, and glanced up as he saw the first stay appear in the dimming sky. Is that you?, he thought, staring at the cold light of the first evening star.
"I can go with Duskwind to look for a temporary camp" Flamestar meowed gently Tigerstripe nodded and the leader went to Duskwind.
Ashpelt purred "I don't mind carrying them" he mewed gently. "At least now they can relax..." He muttered.
Dawnpelt nodded, " Yes...maybe it's better that they're asleep for this leg of the journey. This is a lot for kits to handle. " She glanced at the rest of the clan, " For all of us, really. " she mewed solemnly.
Ashpelt nodded and gently picked Sunkit up. "I'm sure the clan will survive and so will the kits" he mewed gently and looked at Dawnpelt lovingly.
Dawnpelt smiled and licked Ashpelt's ear affectionatly. " I know that , my love, " she said, and sat down beside him, watching her sleeping kits.
Ashpelt purred and set Sunkit beside Bramblekit. He then crouched down and shifted his weight slightly. "Do-do you think we did the right thing you know about Hawkpool...she told me if we didn't go... we'd be dead too, but if we stayed maybe" he trailed off in a slightly troubled tone.
Dawnpelt felt a stab of pain thinking about that moment when she left Hawkpool behind. All I could think of were my kits. I didn't even fear for her safety..., she thought bitterly. " I'm not sure. It's pointless to think about what would or would not have happened, " she said softly, her tail curling slightly as she spoke.
Ashpelt nodded and looked at his kits. He then crouched down and sighed. "Your right" he mewed quietly.
Fallentree limped over to Feathercloud and sat next to her. "Tigerstripe told me not to overdo it and to get help if I need it" he explained kindly. "So I have to stay in the group and not run ahead"
Dawnpelt wanted to mourn today's events terribly, but she held her usual composure. It wouldn't do well to break down now, but when her clan was still in limbo. She looked over her sleeping kits, slightly calmed by the sight of them sleeping. Her ears pricked as she heard paw steps approaching, and turned to watch Flamestar returning to their group.
Ashpelt sat up and looked at Flamestar and Dawnpelt he then looked back over to the kits.
