When the servant found Lauren and
Mystique playing chess, they panicked. "We need to leave," she
whispered, grabbing the demon's wrist and running to hide. The
servant found Mystique and Lauren both gone, so they took their
opportunity. Mystique blinded the servant with his magic before
leading the girl up the stairs. They both were running.
"Thank the stars for me having this outfit. I couldn't run
in a dress."
"Try running in a suit."
"Better than a dress."
The two playfully bickered as they climbed the stairs, careful to
get past the first floor as fast as possible. Now that they were
higher up, they had to move now for fear of the Amiyas finding
them. "Mystique, can you fly?"
"Most demons can, me included. I'm going to have to hold you
like.." He picked her up bridal style. "Alright, we're good. Let's
go."
Avian just broke through the lock when he noticed someone on the
tower. He pushed himself against the wall to make himself
invisible. He watched as he seen two shapes. People he thinks? Too
far to tell. One was holding the other
If they jump to their death, and he doesn't stop them, that makes
him no better than the humans. He has to stop them.
"Stay here." He told the girl. He flew up and was surprised to see
a demon holding a human girl.
Mystique didn't see either of the
other demons. "Alright, we're going down," he said calmly. He used
his magic once more to open the window. Lauren was shaky, but she
held on. Mystique stepped out, with Lauren letting out a relieved
sigh. He kicked off the windowsill and levitated.
"We can't be up too long. Eventually my levitation will need to end
and I don't like using my wings." He floated for a few seconds
before gently landing himself and Lauren onto the ground.
"Ta-da!"
"Wow. Didn't think my parents were dumb enough to let us
leave."
(And now the Amiya parents are extra minor charas.)
"a little rebel" Avian said to himself as the two circles around
the night sky. He decided to stay hidden and let them have their
fun, but at first sign of trouble, he will intervene.
"Thank you." She murmured, eating quickly and quietly. Once she'd
finished she stood up, conjuring flame at her fingertips. "That's
been the most I've eaten in seven months...."
Hey, Red here! Just wanted to let you know that I would love to be
your friend! All I ask is for a bit of respect and you're set! My Humble Art Shop
Silence. It was all silence. Lauren and Mystique were retreating to
the woods behind the manor. They had escaped the manor with
surprising ease. Mystique snapped his fingers and a small blue orb
appeared. "This is for light if needed. I'm going to bind it to
you, so if you ever need it, clap your hands twice and then snap
your right fingers." Lauren nodded and felt an odd cold burning
sensation through her arms. "Try it."
Lauren did as Mystique had said. The orb appeared, but it was a
light magenta colour with white flecks. "Perfect. You're doing
fine." Lauren nodded, still in awe of her creation.
