"Only a little....uh it might sound strange...but" she trailed off. Maybe I should trust them she thought to herself, and shuffled her paws. After all they've helped me so far she sighed "I was a human before this" she said quickly.

Lan paused for a moment. "Oh," he said. There was more silence, before he went back to eating. "Okay, that's weird, I guess." he said

Sam had a few beads of sweat roll off her head. "Errr...well I guess that is kinda strange" she mumbled lowly, and drew her ears back.

"Yeah, he wont think you're crazy," Lan said, "In fact he might be a little... I don't know, actually. You'd have to ask him to find out." Lan was wearing the kind of smirk someone might make when thinking of a diabolical plan.

After one final smirk, Lan finished his food, and stood up. "Well, we still got a few hours to kill. Im gonna go to the town square to buy a few things. Care to join me?"

Lan put the bowl on the island in the kitchen, and headed to the door. "Okay, now please, don't tell anyone you're a human, okay?" he asked. For once, he seemed genuinely serious, and worried.

Lan nodded, and opened the door. He led Sam down the same route they had came from going here, and soon enough, they were in the square. There weren't as many pokemon around, because it was still fairly early. In fact, the sun was barely over the horizon. Lan pulled out a list from a gym sack-like bag. "Okay... where to go first..." he muttered to himself.

Sam looked around the square silently. She saw the Poliwag from the night before. He was talking to two Kecleon at a stand nearby. Sam then glanced over to Lan, and waited for him to make up his mind.

Lan looked at the stand with the two kecleon. "Might as well go here first," he said, as he began to walk in that direction, "(for plot convenience)Most of the stuff on the list we can get there..."

Sam nodded, and looked at the stand. She began to walk in the direction of the shop. Sam came within earshot of the three Pokémon. "Thank you for the berries, Kecleon bros" Saffron said kindly, and smiled.
