Carile didn't understand what Ralts Rate was saying, so she pressed on and easily caught up. "That's not the right answe! Didn't you seehow upset she was? She was my friend's cousin. That's just her nature."

Drake simply ignored her as Ralts made motioned his hands to say don't worry. "Absol can you tell her to let it cool off?" Ralts said. Axy looked back and sighed at the two. "Whatever.." she mumbled, looking quite angry.

Alex smiled though CJ kept a blank face when Tess decided to come with the two and began walking towards Santalune City.

Along the way, CJ battled a few wild Pokémon and his Eevee learned Double Team, which he planned to use in his upcoming Gym Battle against Viola.
"You could probably take out Viola with just Torchic considering she's a Bug-type Specialist." Alex suggested.
"Well, I've seen Battle Footage and it shows her using a Surskit which is part Water-type according to the Pokédex." he retorted.

"Maybe you could evolve Eevee into a Leafeon? But that needs the mossy rock, and that's not for a while..." Tess thought aloud, then realized her mistake with a small frown.

"I personally don't like Leafeon. Where I'm from, they aren't really common so I never grew to like them." CJ admitted.
"If we're talking about evolution, I'm hoping that my Eevee evolves into an Espeon or a Sylveon. They'd be excellent performers." Alex chimed in before finally reaching Santalune City.

"Where's the Pokémon Center?" Alex asked.

As Drake neared the Route gate, he thought about apologizing. "Nah, it'll come around at a better time. Might as well leave it." Drake mumbled, as he slowly walked up to the gate. "Let's get this done." Drake muttered to the two.

"I'd either like a Flareon or an Umbreon. They're really strong. And anyway, where are you from, CJ?" Tess asked, curious. "Oh, the Pokémon center is there, behind that fountain."

Carlie rolled her eyes. Might as well get to Santalune for the gym battle.

Alex nodded and lead the group towards the Pokémon Center, CJ trailing behind next to Tess.
"I'm from Hoenn." he answered.
"In the City I'm from, the Gym Leader's daughter is a pretty good at Contests and everything and she had an Eevee that evolved into a Glaceon when she traveled to Sinnoh. I'd prefer Glaceon over Leafeon honestly."

Ivan was arriving Santalune, with his Honedge flying around him and looking at a cellphone. "Is this the place, Honedge?" He asked, looking over to his sword friend. His phone vibrated, and he looked at it again. "Yep! This is Santalune!"

Drake walks through the route gate, and looks around Santalune City for a pokecenter. "Kinda refreshing to be in a new place, isn't it Axy?" Ralts asks, finally sounding relaxed. "Yeah, whatever." Axy retorted, still a bit mad from earlier. "You guys feel like taking on the gym? Or going to the Pokecenter?" Drake asks, hoping that his pokemon chose the gym.

Finally, after wandering through Route 4 for a while, Carlie reached Santalune city, noticing a Honehedge. Carlie stared at the Honehedge through the Route 4 exit gate and walked to it's trainer. "'Scuse me, is that a Honehedge? It's super cool!"


"I'm going to the Pokecenter to heal my team and challenge the gym! See you." Tess waved goodbye, entering the Pokecenter.

CJ decided to head straight to the Gym, where he was greeted by a tall woman with a Helioptile and notebook. "Welcome to the Santalune City Gym!"

"Thanks. I'd like to challenge the Gym. Are you the Gym Leader?" CJ asked curiously a shiny from his understanding the Gym Leader used Bug-types and not an Electric or Normal-type like Helioptile. The woman laughed and shook her head. "No, the Gym Leader is my younger sister. My name's Alexa. I'll take you to the battlefield."

Ralts and Axy both looked towards the gym, and pointed at it. "Alright! The gym it is!" Drake said, finally smiling for a while. The three began to walk over to the gym, while staring one of the trainers there. "Oh..wow..I'd never thought I'd make it this far." He said, tearing up a bit.

"So I have to defeat these guys to get to the gym leader? Only 2 trainers? Alright! Misty, go! Use Dragon Rage!" Tess commanded, as Misty used dragon rage on one of the trainer's Scatterbugs, who retailiated with bug bite.


"Honehedge is cool! I'd use one, it's too bad I can't have ghost types or steel types on my team, though..." Carlie grinned.
