Ive heard people speak of mega able pokemon hatching, and was wondering what was up with that? So can every single breed of pokemon mega evolve, but only if they hatch with like...a thing saying they can?
So I cant just grab a random charizard and mega evolve it?

Every official mega able pokémon [and their event counterparts] can mega evolve, if and only if they evolve with a mega bubble.

Small addition to what CatLady said

When they hatch with a mega-bubble, it will look like:



Those colorful bubbles signify that the pokemon can mega evolve.

If you can read this, you know how to read.
